Yuki hummed to herself as she walked up the large hill that led to her favorite spot, the place she always dove from at night. She had decided to forgoe her normal hoodie, choosing to just wear a large shark week t-shirt and some shorts for her walk to the lake.

It was a nice night too, no clouds out, nice and cool. All in all, a great night for swimming. Yuki had even had a lovely steak dinner with Mochi, Sid, and Lei earlier! Nothing could ruin her night! It was going great!!!

After all...

What could possibly go wrong?

Harmony hummed to herself as she walked barefoot towards the top of the cliff, holding her black pumps in one hand. She wanted to cool off after a long day and a brief look at a map told her that a lake could be found somewhere on the island. She seriously needed to just swim right now, after a date with that sorry excuse of a man. She grimaced at the thought of him.

The man (Jerry? Gary? Doesn't matter) owned and drove the boat she rode towards the island. He was a wimpy wannabe surfer dude. The only reason why she agreed to go out on a date with him was because he promised to make the boat ride free. In the end, he tried to kiss her and grope her breast. She sneered in disgust at the memory and then smiled when she remembered how he looked like when she used her powers on him. "Hmph! Serves him right!" she said coolly as she continued her hike towards the cliff.

Harmony stopped in her tracks and narrowed her eyes when she saw someone already there. She silently moved towards the person, her eyes widening when she saw the person's appearance. "And what are you supposed to be?" She called out scornfully to the half human, half shark with a malicious smile on her face. She walked out and put a hand on her hip, chin up and eyes looking the girl over disdainfully.

Yuki paused as the older girl addressed her. She looked behind her, as if the woman was talking to someone behind her. She turned back with a confused frown on her face. The sharkgirl pointed to herself.

"Um...Are...Are you talking to me?" She asked, an obviously confused tone to her voice. Yuki glanced behind herself another time, double-checking that there was nobody standing behind her.

Harmony's smile grew wider at the sharkgirl's confused tone. "Well, duh. I mean," her teal orbs glanced up and down the girl's body again in a belittling manner. "You're, like, the only freak I see around here." She walked towards the girl, black heels clicking together as she held them together in one hand, her short black skirt and form fitting v-necked shirt showing under the moonlight.

The siren circled the girl like a vulture, smile full of nothing but malicious curiosity. There were no shark people from her part of the ocean, but she heard that there were sharks with humanoid features existing near tropical waters. But this thing in front of her looked like a human with sharkish features. "A hybrid of a hybrid, aren't you?" Harmony mused out loud, staring at the gills on the girl's neck which looked not that different from her own , except her gills only appeared in her siren form. "Twice the freak," she gave out a high tinkling laugh at her own statement.
