Lochlann did not have a phone the last time he met Kaya Foxuma.

Actually, the last time he met her, she'd dumped a thing of water on him and chased off after another guy in the middle of getting lunch with him, but Lochlann wasn't too upset about that. These things happened.

What he did want to know if she was okay.

He didn't have her number, but he did have a book on demon summoning rituals, and the last time he'd tried it, Lochlann had gotten laid, so even if the person he summoned wasn't quite a succubus, it was the end that counted, right?

Only he wasn't trying to get laid, for once. Just have a conversation.

So Lochlann put his phone in the center of a circle on a deserted island, smeared his blood all around it, lit a few candles, and broke out google translate for Latin.

"Kaya Foxuma , te ab Academia Startlight in hac insula. Nos oportuit quod poneret . * LXIX"

The candles went out.

His phone started to ring.

Kaya was home, he was sitting in a chair in her craft room weaving shadow's together making Shadow Silk to improve her abilities with normal Shadows in the Human world and so she could learn to do different stuff with the Silk to get other properties out of them. With a sigh she put the silk down from the dark wood loom she had her father creat that allowed for finer control over the threads when she began her creations and alowed her to stop on them in the middle rather then having to pull something together and finishing it before it could stay solid.

It was as she took a sip of water that she had sittin next to her when she felt an itching, this particular itch didn't really happen unless she was being summoned by her father and that was more dimanding and more forcefull. this one just seemed, odd. She got a mental picture of where the summoning was happening and....was that a Phone...and Loch? Well that was interesting.

With a sigh she looked down at her rather....reveald body and thought better then to appear and give the man a death by nose bleed so she went over to her walk in closet and began to choose an outfit. Ignoring the rather soft buzz where the gap of her horns were at the back of her head telling her she needed to be somewhere.

Once she was dressed, in a loose white tank top that had essentially no sides on it wearing a black lacy bra underneath. she also put on skin tight light blue jeanes. With a sigh she opened a portal to the practially deserted island.

Stepping onto the sand with her hooves finding easy purchase in the loose granules she folded her arms and gave Loch a look of amusement and disbelief. "You might want to work a little on the ritual. To be honest I don't know what you expected to do with the cell phone in the middle of it all. Usually they don't stand long against this much energy floating through the air." As she spoke she looked aroun the near by area with a raised eyebrow. "Where are we anyway?"

"Holy shit," Lochlann said. He swayed for a moment, and then fell back onto his butt in the sand. He was really drunk, and he was honestly surprised. He said, "I really didn't think it'd work. At least not like this."

Lochlann looked down at his phone, which had stopped ringing, and then reached into the circle to pick it up and tuck it back into his pocket.

"I was sort of thinking you'd just answer the phone," he confessed. He followed her gazed and looked around the islet, and that's when Lochlann realized he could not honestly answer her question.

"I'm not sure," he said. 'I uh...I swam here. And then I thought I should call you. It's been a while. After last time, I mean, I wanted to see if you were okay."

It wasn't hard to tell that he was drunk, but Lochlann was still doing a pretty decent job of keeping it together. He was managing to not stare at her, even though he was certain that those jeans probably made her ass look fantastic. But he kept his gaze on her face when he wasn't looking at the island, trying to figure out what the hell he'd just done.

"Really? You did all of this just to talk to me? over a phone no less." She gave a soft giggle at that. "Geez if you really wanted to get my number you could have just asked at school." She looked down at the circle in the sand, impractical substance for magic circles. Easy material to move and made for weak containment spells. Then She sniffed something in the air and found something different but familiar.

"Are you drunk Lock? You sure that's a smart idea when calling a demon?" She said this as she felt the tickle of her otherside pulling forward a bit. She was learning how to control it a bit more and so she decided to tease Loch in his drunken state. She did notice as well how his eyes glanced towards her toned legs giving her an idea. She dismissed her portal and turned around to look at what the terrain was behind her, however she did this by turning her hips slightly aside and twisting her upper body around so that she could look at everything and in doing so present Loch with the open side of her shirt and allowed the muscles in her legs to play with the fabric containing them.

"Man you really did go a ways from the island didn't you, and you said you swam here?" She let the words hang for a second before her voice tilted more towards the softer more... wanting tone. "You must have quite the, endruance, to pull that off."

"I probably could have asked someone at the school," Lochlann echoed her thought like she'd just told him where the holy grail was buried. "Shit. That meant I didn't need all of this blood...ughhh."

Lochlann shrugged and wiped his still-bleeding hand on his jeans. It'd stop soon enough--this wasn't the first time he'd done it.

He turned just in time to catch Kaya doing a seductive little turn and Loch swallowed, then looked for his flask and took another heavy mouthful of whatever concoction was inside of it. Shit. It's not like he'd forgotten how hot Kaya was, but more like he thought that he'd be okay enough drunk to not accidentally hit on her.

"Swimming clears my head," Lochlann admitted. He looked around the island again and frowned. "Actually I don't think I've been to this island before, but i'm not so sure now. I hope I didn't summon you some place dangerous or worse, to the island with all the really big rabbits."

He didn't miss the shift in her tone. Lochlann swallowed, but he was trying to keep his mind innocent. That's not why he'd called her here. He called to see if she was okay....not to try and get a second date.

She gave a flash of teeth in a smile at Loch as she found his reaction as she laughed a little. With a small kick of her hoof she grabbed the phone out of the air and a small spray of sand before tossing it back to Loch and sitting down cross legged in the sand within the circle. "Any way, I'm guessing you didn't call me from my...diversions just to have me investigate an island with you."

She did take a moment to listen to the area around them, it sounded very empty. Like nothing was around them, there were plants but Kaya guessed her presence had emptied the near by area. "Hmmm, Seems kind of quiet around here doesn't?" Using that moment she felt her scalp feel a little itchy and she brought up her hands and tussled her long starscape hair scratching her the scalp.

"No," Lochlann admitted. "And I swear my intention wasn't to get you alone on a deserted island to watch the sunset and drink with me, either."

It actually wasn't, and sunset wasn't for a bit yet, so his excuse there should have been solid.

"I wanted to check in because after last time, I was worried about you," Lochlann admitted. "When you ran off after that guy--Henry?— I didn't want to follow and get you into trouble, but it seemed clear that you were very hurt and I was...I was worried."

He shrugged.

Now that he said it, it did seem a little ridiculous, like he had ulterior motives, and Lochlann's inability to tear his gaze from her body seemed like it was just adding to his guilt.

He took another drink and held the flask out to her.

"Do you...want to talk? or should i uh, unsummon you?"

It was a small shift but a shift in her mood none the less. Her smile faultered for a moment and she looked down at her crossed calves her heart breaking slightly as her thoughts turned to when she chased after Henry. "No, it's all right. We just...broke up I guess the term is." She felt another pang run through her heart as her tail begun to draw small nervous circles in the sands. "I guess I just wasn't strong enough to be with him is all. I'll be fine."

She gave a wry sad chuckle more to herself then to give Loch comfort that she was okay. "To be honest I think I could use a drink. Even with being the light weight that I am. Plus I came here on my own free will, you can't really UN-summon me when you haven't really summoned me here in the first place you dork." With that it did allow her to smile a bit more wholeheartedly then before. "Do you have a drink to offer a lowly demoness who is still a little down on her luck?"

"Oh," Lochlann said, frowning. "I'm sorry to hear that."

He patted the sand next to him. He'd gone through his share of breakups so while he could relate to an extent, Lochlann's breakups had always involved the other person dying. So while he felt sad, he couldn't offer much advice because Henry was still alive, so in his mind, that meant Kaya still had a chance.

"Well, come sit with me then," Lochlann said. "I have a lot of....I don't know what's in here. But there's a lot of it. I think it was tequila once, or whiskey."

At the mention of her coming here at his own free will, Lochlann pretended he had been shot in the heart.

"Ahhhhh, right in my ego....here I was thinking I'd finally managed the subtle art of demoness summoning...." Lochlann shook his head and sighed. "I don't know if I'll ever get it right. Did I ever tell you about the last time I tried to summon a demon?"

She got up from her spot in the sand and with a couple of slightly exaggerated sways of her hips before sitting down next to Loch. Kaya gave a little smile allowing herself a little humor. "I'll accept your offer there." she said taking the flask, er whatever it was... And took a swig from it. The burn seemed to arc through her body almost instantly. Her skin started to darken in shades as the brew seeped into her.

With a slight gasp and a shiver as goose bumps grew from her skin. "I do think, that brew might be some...strong stuff." She handed it back before laying down in the sand and stretched. "I...don't know what to do Loch. I feel so lost without...something. I don't know what though." she raised a hand and she put her hand on her heart pushing the shirt down. "It use to reside right here when I was with him but...now there is nothing." Kaya said this as she looked into the sky.
