Sev was on a cart heading deeper into the forest at a bit of a base camp he had created. It was safe from monsters and such. Reading over a paper he noticed that a reward for some Wolves either to get them out of the area or slay them. Though he wasn't big on Ecology he was asked to try and wound them so they would leave. Not kill. So he put the paper into a small pouch after folding it and pulled out a bottle of water. Though it was green, he shook it a bit and it began to glow. It was a healing potion if he needed it. Though he was good alchemy. He only ever made potions to heal him. It was easier that way.

Eventually after he closed his eyes the cart came to a stop. He jumped off and waved to the man who had brought him here. He was wearing a mask so he wasn't sure on who it was when the cart began to move away. Looking at the small base camp it had a fire pit which he lit and put his armor bag on the ground. Putting on each piece of his armor on at a time. Slowly getting his armor on he thought he heard a noise. Seeing a bird fly by him he smiled. "God'amn birds.." He said. They always ticked him off to no end, though he did like their simple life.

Eventually he stood with his armor on and attached his bag to his side. Putting his hand inside he pulled out his short sword and shield from the bag and began to clean them. They were still smothered in blood of a dragon. Though he was sure they liked it. as he put the sword in the fireplace for a bit. The blade began to glow a bit as he grabbed the hilt and held the sword into the air.

"Well my friend. Let's go..."

He said. Leaving some of his useless gear at the camp. Little did he know. He was walking into a trap. He walked through the forest as he moved branches out of his way and made his way to a dark area. He could see faintly. Though he stopped as he heard something snap. He didn't realize that he snapped a twig.

Just when he thought he wasn't going to have any issues. He saw eyes come from the darkness as he held his shield up and looked around. Sev was surrounded as his blade begged for combat, and his shield for blood. He wasn't about to lose his cool now. How was he going to explain genocide? "Great.. This isn'-" He heard howls and the snarls as he heard foot steps behind him. Turning around just in time a wolf jumped at him and he used the shield to launch the wolf at another. Which then turned into him using the side of the blade for blunt force to hit a wolf across the skull.

"Well, this is gunna be fun.." he said with a smile on his back. After a more wolves joined the fray Sev's arm was bit as he tried to slash at one. Dropping his blade it vanished into thin air with his shield. Using his other arm to punch the wolf off his arm he grabbed it and tossed it at one that had started to charge as he felt his back getting slashed. Taking a few steps forward reeling from the wound he put up his hands as he closed his eyes and heard two of the jump and made for the floor as the two had bumped heads. By now there were Nine wolves on the ground or limping away. Sev was bleeding from the wound on his back and the bite on his arm. He was panting at this point. He was tired as he let out his battle cry. Hoping that it was enough to scare them off.

If it worked on bigger creatures once.. It will work on these-

He was so wrong.

As he roar'd he heard many more howls as he tried to hold them off. It wasn't working. Eventually he was covered in wolves. biting and clawing at parts of his body. Until he reached into his bag. "C-C'mon.." grabbing a hilt of his long sword he pulled it out. Knocking most away and cutting two of them. Enough to make them bleed but not to kill as he slowly stood up once. more. His armor once a beautiful blue. Now shimmered red. Taking a small drink of the health potion he held the shaft of the blade with both hands. Holding it almost like a samurai would he began to slowly move backwards.

Noticing they were moving forward slowly. Sev was worn, but he wasn't going down anytime soon. Maybe he should turn around. He turned around and noticed that he was surrounded literally. He saw that wolves were coming at him at all sides. Seems he didn't come into just a few. It was a pack.

Spinning his sword in one hand that it scrapped the ground. He went back. And prepared for what could be his final stand. Against wolves. He fought worse before, but nothing as massive as a pack.

Vieve's evening had not been going well.

She loved being a wolf--she couldn't remember a time she didn't enjoy the feel of the moon on her back, the ground under her paws, the taste of the night air in her mouth.

It was the politics she wasn't too fond of.

As a whole, werewolves were fiercely loyal creatures. Their cooperation was fierce and understood the balance of strong and weak so that each packmate could fully rely on the wolf next to them. That didn't mean that they were a blindly trusting species, but if put behind strong--yet idiotic--leadership, things could get out of hand. Like tonight. Vieve was not having a good night.

As an employee of the school, Vieve was something of an ambassador to the local packs. It was up to her to manage the newly-turned, provide social support between new and established wolves, provide good 'wolf PR, and generally persuade wolves not to eat wayward students. There hadn't been an incident since the great Weresheep Debacle of 1970.

Vieve was good at her job but tonight was not going well. This pack's previous alpha pair had stepped down and, normally, a beta would step up....but the pack's seconds were involved in a horrible accident the weak earlier. Everything had fallen into disarray and some asshole had stepped forward, felt that it was his sacred duty to reclaim the forest from intruders, and generally started to be a d-bag to anyone who stepped foot in it.

Right now, Vieve was running through the forest, her tongue lolling and froth staining her lips. Her legs and lungs were burning but she didn't stop running until she'd stumbled into the thick of a battle.

It wasn't going well for either sides. The wolves were getting their tails handed back to them like the untrained mass they were, but the warrior they were fighting was only one man (even if Vieve did have to admire his technique).

Freaking idiots.

As a wolf, Vieve was larger and much bulkier than her human form might indicate. Her fur rippled and stood on end and her lips were pulled back, but the warning she made was at the other wolves.

The nearest one snarled and Vieve swiped at him with her paw, giving him the werewolf equivilent of a bitch slap.

They were not listening to protocol.

They were not listening to reason.

they were not listening to authority.

This pack of idiots was going to end up sanctioning a huge fine against 'wolves and, quite possibly, kill the man.

So Vieve did the only thing she knew they would listen to.

She dove into the fray, tumbling towards the hunter with reckless abandon, rose on her hindlegs before him and shifted.

"Stop you fucking assholes," she shouted, "that's my fiance!"

They would listen to tits.

Sev saw one of them jump in front of him. Though he though it was after him till it turned around and shifted right in front of it. With the girls ass right up in her air he.. Forgot what he was doing. It was a spectacular sight. Though he looked at her back and noticed the tattoos. It was interesting. Though something had caught his attention.

It was a communal thing from the wolves and Sev at the same of the wolves tilting their heads and Sev dropping his blade.

... Fi... An... Ce?

"WHAT!?"

Was heard in the forest. A moment of confused silence had gone about as the wolves slowly left. Leaving Sev and his unknown.. Naked savior. For once it wasn't his will that saved the day.. It was some girls tits. His sword had dropped on the ground and vanished into thin air as he took off his helmet. Tying it off to his side, he looked at the girl.

It was hard to tell either what was him blushing or some blood on his face. Looking away from the naked girl who was in front of him he went through his back pack and pulled out a small cloak. "Thank you, but.. Fiance? Wha- I mea-"

He said, trying to find out what to say next. Though, he wasn't... against the idea of having someone to go home to. "Are you serious?" He said with a raised eyebrow. Trying to pat himself down for a ring of some sort. Then he recalled he did have something at home. Which was a day or two away. Just outside of the forest itself.

Though his blush finally cleared he took a deep breath as he looked at the ground, then at her. "So, I'm Sev. Whose the girl running around calling herself my Fiance?"

"WHAT!?"

"Yeah, that's right," Vieve said, making the universal jack-off motion with her right hand, leaving the words suck it unspoken. "Thanks for ruining the surprise assholes. I didn't even get a chance to tell my mom yet, but you guys had to go and try to kill my fiance soooo..."

The wolves were filing out of the woods, their body language uneasy and annoyed, but Vieve continued up the act, standing there with her arms crossed and her hip cocked out to the side.

When she was convinced they were mostly alone, Vieve turned around and noted with some surprise that his sword was...gone.

He took off his helmet and pulled a cloak out of her bag, but Vieve seemed to miss the point that it was probably for her. As it was, she was comfortable in her own skin, standing in the moonlight....at least until the mosquitoes came out.

"Thank you, but.. Fiance? Wha- I mea-" "Are you serious?"

He raised an eyebrow and Veive shrugged in response. "I guess so, for the time being at least."

It was too dark to notice any sort of blush and had she, Vieve would have assumed it was just blood anyway. She bent over for a second, picking out some pine needles that had been lodged in between her feet. Her mind was racing, her blood still boiling from the gods damn insubordination of the 'wolves.

When she stood back up, she was looking up into his eyes.

"So, I'm Sev. Whose the girl running around calling herself my Fiance?"

"Oh, right," Vieve said, holding out her hands. "Hello Sev, it's nice to meet you. I'm Vieve Corbeau, and I guess we'll have to stage a wedding until I can arrange a coup."

She eyed him up and down, trying to figure out what background story she'd give for the man she'd lied and said she was marrying until she could work this mess out. He was a little more buff than her usual type, but it was not implausible.

She said, "Are you up for a challenge?"

Sev looked at the girl who was standing as he blinked a few times and walked over putting the cloak around her so she wasn't so naked. Not that he had an issue with it. Just someone shouldn't have to walk around naked all the time. So he coughed a bit.

"Well, thanks. If it's for the time being. I guess I can pretend."

He said with a smile on his and a laugh. This was too rich. He might enjoy this a little too much, though with someone like that... And someone... He shook his head for a moment and as she said her name.

Vieive? sounded like a sweet name atleast to Sev. Then again he just gave her a nick name and she used her full name. "A pleasure. Darling."

He said with a bow and a bit of sarcasm. when she asked him if he was up for a challenge he pulled out a picture of him on top of a dead dragon that he kept for good luck and then slowly put it away. Taking out the water bottle of green liquid he took a sip and smiled. He was feeling a bit better with that as most of his wounds closed up slowly. It hurt a bit, but he felt great.

"Up for the challenge? Well, There has been no challenge I haven't walked away the victor from." He said turning towards his base camp and held out his arm for her to hold onto. Just to add a bit of flare to those who may be watching at this point.

Though he wasn't going to expect that this road was slightly damning to him. He was on a path that may be his toughest fight yet.

"So Veive, what do you think of the Academy?" He said with a raised eyebrow. Trying to find out more about her. "Well, regardless i should tell you about me. Or just in general we should get to know each other a bit."

"Well, thanks. If it's for the time being. I guess I can pretend."

He put the cloak over her shoulder's and Vieve did her best not to sigh, accepting it gratefully instead. She fastened it in front, chewing on the inside of her cheek, her brow furrowed in thought.

"A pleasure. Darling."

How bowed, which Vieve thought was a touch melodramatic, and the sarcasm wasn't lost on her. But then, he pulled out a photo of himself ontop of a dead dragon. Part of her was impressed. The other part was nonplussed.

"You just carry that photo with you, at all times?" She wrinkled her nose. "Doesn't it get...sweaty?"

"Up for the challenge? Well, There has been no challenge I haven't walked away the victor from."

"What a very hypermasculine thing for you to say," she teased, but she took his arm anyway and started walking through the woods with him. She let him lead, although she was taking in her surroundings as she went, keeping her eyes and nose alert for danger....and keeping her eyes on him, just like a good love-struck fiance was expected to.

ugh. Maybe this would be harder than anticipated. Vieve wasn't exactly the marrying type. It's why she'd been perfectly happy with her status as Lone Wolf for the last gods know how long.

"So Veive, what do you think of the Academy?"

That was a good question and she responded to her raised eyebrow with one of her own. It was also a loaded question--they could guage the informatin about each other while still maintaining a sense of coverage.

"I've worked at worse schools," Vieve said, purposely giving him clues about both her occupation and her past. "I'm glad this island is big to still disappear for a few days, though. I've never been a city person and having to live in a place where so many people are so close together has been quite a change. How about yourself, how are you finding the island?"

"It's kind of like a memento. A necklace of sorts for me." He said then... He gave her question some thought. "Huh.. Never thought about that. Might need to get myself one of those.. Wall its? I always thought you put them on a wall and stored money there and took out what you needed for the day.."

It really showed just how... Disconnected Sev was with the world. he was living in the city but was still getting used to the idea of it all. Trying to find out what to do and all.

Hyper-masculine? Sev couldn't help but grin for a moment with a slight chuckle.

"Well, it's one of my best qualities." He said teasingly as well. Though he found himself more humble, sometimes it was nice to let loose and say what you wanted.

As Vieve took his arm he felt.. he wasn't sure. It was nice but also really awkward. Though he lead them to get either to his camp or out the forest. Which ever happened first.

"It's.. Hard to get around. I am not used to so many buildings. Or just.. A big one at all. It's all kind of you know.. Buildings made out of.. Concrete was it? And steel. It's all kind of. Weird to me. Though I am enjoying it of having all the necessities so close to home." He said with a bit of smile. It was.. Odd having vieve around. Someone to talk to. Though it was kind of nice. "What do you do for the school? I've never been in one. I was taught to read and write by an elder that lived in the village."

He blinked a few times and looked around.

"S-Sorry. I didn't mean to go too indepth."
