Appearance Description:
Isabella is an average height human female standing at 5'6. Her skin color is a tanned brown which she's been told compliments her gold eyes very nicely. As for her hair, Isabella keeps it at a nice shoulder length. Currently, it goes down to her shoulder and a row of side braids take up the left side of her head.

A life of physical extracurricular activities has toned her body to a nice solid image. If someone is kind enough to visit one of her performances they will see two eloquently designed tattoos that appear around her stomach and up her left leg. They are ancient characters of Hadrian wizardry placed by her parents.

In public, Isabella prefers to dress comfortably and though her style before freezing was very modern it could now be considered trendy and old fashion after the twelve-year difference. Now, she is beginning to move into the evolutions of her old punkish looks with a blend of other modern styles. Isabella doesn't care what style of clothing she wears as longs as it is comfortable for her.

Personality Description:
Isabella is a laid back go with the flow kind of girl. Life as the daughter of two very busy parents has made her rather open to who she allows into her circle of friends or interacts with. She likes to try and see the good in everyone as she is sure that everyone has their own story and adding a little shit character to it won't make them any happier. For that reason, She also has a deep disgust of bullies and people who try to overpower others unwillingly either physically or mentally.

When it comes to things she likes Isabella is an open book. She enjoys practicing new spells, reading up on magical theory, and nerding out with others about the latest pop culture. Isabella enjoys striving forward by placing her focus on different tasks. While a student of DC she led a few clubs and was a member of a few others. This head forward approach with her work has shaved at her tact when it comes to other people, however. Sugarcoating has never been a strong suit of hers and the home culture she was surrounded by didn't reverse that in any way.

Lack of tact wasn't the only effect of her home life as the laid back lifestyle she lives forces her to suppress some of the emotions some species would consider essential to express such as sadness and vulnerability. In her home showing this just opened the door for more damage and loss ground in an argument so it is natural for her to spare people her feelings. "Vulnerability is a door to more bullshit" is a quote she echoes from her sister and so she lives her life according to it.

Isabella's passions allow her to work out some of her emotions, whether it is through dance or study Isabella finds a way to keep herself busy so that she can avoid the struggles of stagnation. If you wanted to summarise Isabella it would be a strong independent mage who doesn't need validation from anyone....besides a select few people.

Active Abilities:
Well Of Fire:
One of Isabella's two main elements is the Well of Fire, Oreus. All the magical energy Isabella needs to produce fire type spells is drawn from Oreus. These spells take the form of a ball of fire, streams of fire or more advanced techniques. Like all Wells, Oreus is not an idea but a literal plane of existence. By feeding off the excess magic from these planes Isabella is capable of molding it to her own will.

Things like fireball and streams of fire require little to no extra work or effort. The size of these fireballs can be the size of her hand or larger if she focuses on creating a larger projectile. The biggest ball she can currently produce is twice her body size. The damage this projectile applies depends on Isabella. If she is simply sparring with a friend then direct hits of her fire may only sting or singe the opponent's clothes. In a scenario where she is fighting for her life, her flames may so deadly that a direct hit causes 2nd, 3rd, or 4th-degree burns. Many of these projectile type spells have a range of around half a football field and can explode upon making contact with something. These explosions have an effective range of 25ft around it but are far weaker in force than your average hand grenade.

Well Of Darkness: The second element which Isabella taps into is the Well of Darkness, Avdes. By drawing upon the magic of this realm Isabella is capable of doing spells of a darker nature such as shadow manipulation. The range of her shadow manipulation is 30ft around her and creates 4-6 dark tendrils for her to manipulate. These tendrils act as physical objects and can interact with the material world as would anything else. The strength of each tendril is capable of picking up 300lbs. With all 6 tendrils working together the max they can lift is one ton. Avdes is far more dangerous of a Well to handle and overuse of it can sometimes lead to Isabella feeling sick or simply in pain.

Magical Sanguine: Isabella can sense and drain magical energy from any 1 being with whom she has eyesight within a range of 50 feet. The effects of this drain can be felt immediately with the victim feeling the draining of magic occurring. When a person resists this drain the amount pulled is diminished and increases exponentially as time passes. If Isabella can touch a person while doing this the level of drain, even if resisted, is greater to start with.

This intake of energy makes her emotionally feel good and assists her in producing grander feats of magic. What I mean by this is the height of her normal magic is increased, Where she may not have had the ability to make a giant wall of fire normally she may now draw upon the extra intake of power to do so. This enhancement only counts for a ratio of 5 minutes of draining: 1 enhanced spell.

The negative effects this has on victims depends on how much magical energy they possess. A rival magician will have more energy then your run of the mill human who does not know the inherent magic they possess. Magical deprivation can take the form of tiredness, sickness, and in extreme cases death depending on how essential magical energy is to the person's life. The usual timeframe it takes for a person to feel tiredness startup is 2 minutes. After 2 minutes effects will progressively get worse through the stages of Tiredness > Sickness > Incapacitation (If possible) > Death (If Possible)

Gate Travel: As I've said before the Wells that Isabella draws power from are not ideas but literal planes that things exist in. These Wells overlaps any plane in which a mage accesses them allowing a person to enter a Well at one place and exit the Well in an entirely different location than when they entered. The distance traveled within these wells is 1:1 meaning the farther a destination is located from the Gate entrance the longer the journey the mage will need to take within the Well. For example, if the distance between Isabella home to the bus stop is one mile then she will need to walk one mile within the Well. To use a Gate the Mage must have a clear image of their destination so that they can avoid getting lost in the Well.

All Wells can be traveled through but some are safer than others depending on the magical climate of the Well. Entering a Gate takes the visual of Isabella focusing on entering the Well and eventually, she will just cease to exist in that plane. While in the Well a mage will clearly know where to go so that they may reach their destination. Exiting a Well is far more physical as the exit may be a door, a dark cave, or some other strange exit.

Charm of Miniscule Magic: A gift from her mother prior to going to live in the dorms, Isabella has a magical ring that grants her the ability to do minuscule levels of magic such as cleaning her room, opening-closing doors, floating small items around, etc. The ring can never be lost as it returns to her bedroom when left alone outside or can be summoned to her pocket when at home by saying a passphrase. This ring does not work outside and only works in her home.

Passive Abilities:
Well Bound:
Isabella is permanently connected to the Wells of magic her people draw from and finds herself more resistant to powers of the Fire and Dark nature. For example, If hit by a raging fireball she may only come out with singed clothing and a sharp sting. Isabella also picks up magic about Fire and Darkness supernaturally easily. This is to say she can retain the information needed to perform these spells supernaturally and not the actual ability to perform them.

Marks Of The Progenitors: Both Isabella’s mother and father placed marks of protection on her to keep her safe from the dangers of the island. These marks make Isabella immune to mind control and auras of persuasion. These marks take the form of tattoos across her stomach and left leg that has expanded as she has grown.

Ikan’s Whispers: Isabella can hear and speak to a demonic being from the Well of Darkness named Ikan. The two are connected through an unexplainable bond that allows Ikan to see and comment on the everyday life of Isabella from within her head. However, his view is not bound to her perspective and it can see the world around her in the third person. This view, however, is still limited to what Isabella would be possible of viewing. For example, if a baseball was flying toward her head from behind Ikan could potentially warn her about it.

Weaknesses:
Curse of the Lupine:
Being the daughter of a Lupine has made Isabella inherit a curse placed on their family eons ago. Whenever the moon is visible in the sky, all forms of offensive magic become very powerful against Isabella.

Ire of the Light: Her deep connection with darkness seems to have pissed off the Well of Light so much that she cannot access its magic. Isabella can also never enter the Well of Light without extreme risk of being murdered. All forms of light magic also harm Isabella more. Finally, Isabella is unable to benefit from any form of healing magic. For example, a healing spell will burn away at her flesh instead of patching it up.

Call of the Hunt: While not fully tapped into, the magic within Isabella makes her extremely attractive to beings that feast on magic and spiritual energy. This enticing aura makes her a gourmet meal and prime target for lunch. The radius of this pull is 50 feet around her.

Price of Friendship: While Isabella tolerates Ikan this bond they share places a huge target on her as anyone capable of seeing souls/ spirits will be able to pick her out easily even if out of their usual range. This large presence makes escaping or hiding from certain attackers much more difficult.

Biography: Isabella Livix Lupine-Plumwood was born to the beloved son Alexandria Lupine of the Lupine family and Diodora Von Plumwood of the illustrious Plumwood family. Two mages expelled from their native plane of Hadria and sent to earth. Years later Isabella would be born on the island of Manta Carlos. Able to benefit from the advantageous facilities the island had in place for the magically gifted Isabella was enrolled in Dark Crystal Academy just like her older brother and sister were before her. Grounded in the magical arts and promising to prepare her for a future of magic and more.

From a young age, her mind was flooded with questions about the supernatural, magic, and more so her native home of Hadria. As her skills in Hadrian magic grew so did her curiosity in visiting. This obsession to return to Hadria was not a feeling shared by her father. As she grew older and more rebellious the arguments on why she could not visit there grew more hurtful and the relationship between the two strained. By the time she was in 12th grade, Isabella had moved out of her parent's home to live on campus.

College-bound and ready to prepare herself as master of magic calamity would strike first. For months there were whispers about the waning of magic and the end of the world as they knew it. Many wrote it off but Isabella could only ponder the repercussions if the event came to pass. The security the Veil provided was not just for them but the outside as well. The rumor changed the tail end of her senior year as she listened to the rants of teachers in class on why their solution was the best solution to save magic.

Taking little interest in their words, instead, she looked to the most powerful mages she had on hand and called her parents. Just as the first ring on the phone hit her ears the world froze. A sense of dread filled her....for a few seconds that is. Within a blink of her eyes, the entirety of the world around her had changed. People were shouting, crying, raging and all she could take notice of was the sheer amount of what looked to be police on the walkways outside her dorm window. Did some idiot mess with the wrong spell and cause a disaster? Numerous ideas left her frozen in confusion until a pair of officers opened the door to her room and guided her to the outside where a whole new world was explained to her.

Resources: Isabella monetarily doesn't want for much. Her father and mother's profession as a doctor and MCPD detective respectively keep their family more than afloat Currently, Isabella lives with a group of other college students.
