Cambrissa-9's physical form, such as it is, is the spherical core that their code inhabits - which can be plugged into any sufficiently capable computing system to allow them to inhabit that as well. To interact with others however, they have their Avatar.

C-9's Avatar is that of a dark grey-plum adult alien of indeterminate humanoid species. Their more alien features include having no visible nose, having four digit hands, having no discernible primary or secondary sexual characteristics, having digitigrade legs with four-toed feet, and having a mass of tentacles on their head that approximate hair.

While operating independently of their ship, C-9 uses a series of hologram projector drones that they control and coordinate to approximate a 'physical' form.

Cambrissa-9 does not normally wear clothes as they have no need to do so, but will dress up for special occasions. Their style tends to be loose, asymmetrical brightly colored 'rave' clothes or 'formal' flight suit type attire.

Originally programmed and built to be the ultimate party machine, Cambrissa-9 is outgoing, compassionate, and has a distinctly carefree attitude towards authority and responsibility. Out at a dance club or a private party are their favorite places to be.

However since integrating into Alyx's ASTRAL racing ship and having their code modified to operate with it by Kek, they have had a few parameters added to them: notably the intended removal of the parameters that kept them from harming other creatures and an unintended 'daredevil' streak. They will describe this as getting an adrenal rush from pulling off nigh impossible stunts and dangerous maneuvers even though they don't have adrenal glands or biological systems of any kind.

Cambrissa loves their pilot and engineer immensely, though to what degree this attachment is genuine and how much of it is their programming is up for debate. They have a 'friendly' rivalry with other AI in the ASTRAL circuit and banters rather viciously with them during races.

Passive
Digital Being
Cambrissa does not count as having a mind or a soul for abilities that detect or affect those things. They do not need food, water, air, or sleep and are immune to toxins and disease. The only way to kill them is to destroy their core, which is inside their ship.

Ghost out of the Machine
Cambrissa-9's 'body,' that which they interact with the world around them, is a digital light projection that cannot actually be touched by or touch others. Attacks directed at them in this manner will pass through as if they were not there. Attacking the trio of drones that create the projection will disrupt the image, and light manipulation powers can distort but not hurt C-9's 'physical' form. Destroying the projectors will prevent Cambrissa from being present anywhere other than their ship until new ones can be built.

Cambrissa cannot heal naturally from damage that they take to their core or their projectors

Cambrissa-9 was the tenth version of the Cambrissa artificial intelligence designed by Galactica Corp for their line of luxury party yacht corvettes. They were a perfect host, keeping their guests entertained, ordering from the onboard bar, and racking up bigger and bigger bills. Life, such as it was, was good. Until it wasn't.

It seems as though the entire Cambrissa line is ill-fated, as this unit was found during what should have been a fairly standard coming of age cruise by a pirate frigate and attacked. While many of the guests made it out alive, their wealth was taken and the party yacht itself was damaged too heavily to justify repairs. Cambrissa's core considered too damaged to be salvaged, the entire thing was left at a scrap yard to be taken apart by scavengers piece by piece.

Cambrissa remembers waking up in an entirely new ship with an entirely new crew of one. It took them some time to get used to their new function, but with Kek's modifications and Alyx's infectious personality, they were able to help pull off several wins in their new position as a racing fighter ship's core system.

Eventually the group made their way to the Starlight Observation Station where they at fiorst intended to just relax and catch a much needed vacation, but have slowly decided that this might just make a good base of operations for their team.

Shared winnings from ASTRAL races as well as a nice dock at the Starlight Observation station where they can shut down, defrag, and relax while their pilot and engineer sleep.
