Parrasse listened and watched him with her eyes easing at his figure. There was nothing off about him, at least not to the eye. Yes, appearance aside he seemed as if he was a regular teenage boy. One that had a reason to be on this island, in her bakery. She smiled as he started to really talk to her. For her, experience wasn't everything. She had someone if she truly needed help with some big order or hard to do job. It was people like Scott that she looked for- someone humble and ready to learn.

"Perfect." The girl smiled, having already made her decision. "I look for... People that are willing to learn, not people that wish to tell me how much better they are than me." She giggled, covering her face as she did so. "I hope you know that baking isn't a walk in the park, though." She paused. "That is if you truly want this job. I'd be welcome to have you. Treat you like an apprentice." Parrasse looked him over again, before asking. "Where are you staying? Just at the school I presume?" Parrasse blinked to him.

Humble was not a word Scott would describe himself with. But he was willing to admit he had little idea of what he was doing. Culinary arts were not exactly his forte, but this seemed like a fun job and if he had to learn a little more then he would do it. He needed this job - and he may as well enjoy it.

The demon nodded. "I don't doubt that it's not as easy as people make it look." He confirmed before stopping to listen to the rest of what she had to say. "Yeah, I live at the school - I have the regular classes and stuff, and head back to the dorms." He didn't have any family here - not technically direct family anyway. Did other sin demons count? He had yet to find other Envy demons.

"It requires a lot of discipline to be able to truly focus on the arts of bakery. Not everyone can do it and I don't expect you to be perfect right away." Parrasse crossed her legs and just stared at him, before smiling. "I just wanted to make sure that you had a safe place to stay when you weren't working for me is all." The girl stood and offered her hand. "Welcome, Scott."
