Fang couldn't help but chuckle at the notion of a Cinderella situation. How awkward would that be? On one hand he couldn't see Scir running out and getting particularly far on one shoe assuming she didn't just teleport. But, he knew where her dorm was so she was really easy to track down. "Well you're in luck, you have a prince right here ready to lend you a hand. We could always try the food, it smells tasty enough."

He paused and looked at her. "We can find someplace less crowded if you don't want to dance here. Or well not dance at all and just talk. Honestly, I'm fine with spending time with you. Maybe after the ball we could watch Cinderella at the manor, or your dorm."

As soon as Fang brought to light that in this situation he was the prince Scirheah realized what she had said was really embarrassing and she blushed. Automatically she lifted her hand to push her glasses up, but there was just a mask there. Well, suppose it worked either way.
"You're already lending me a hand. To give me the other one too, that I couldn't possibly demand."
Scirheah said, mumbling a bit, referencing to the fact that they were still holding hands.
"Eating sounds good, actually. I haven't eaten in a while, unfortunately."
Scirheah also smelled the food, and almost drooled at the scent. She had been too nervous to stomach this whole day, but now that she was actually here with Fang her hunger was clear.

As the two made their way towards the food all the people around her made Scirheah feel a bit light-headed, despite Fang's calming presence. And as if he read her mind Fang suggested they'd move somewhere less crowded. Scirheah looked at him, it made her happy that Fang considered her. It was really prince-like, and the fact that Fang genuinely just wanted to spend time with Scirheah made her really happy. Scirheah glanced at the dance floor and looked down shyly, blushing.
"I don't know how to dance, but have always wanted to give it a chance. But you don't have to worry about it, I would hate it if your toes took a hit."
Scirheah smiled a bit at Fang, attempting to joke, but she really didn't want to bother Fang too much.
"Watching Cinderella sounds fun, I still haven't seen the live action one."

"You forget my element is metal, you don't have to worry about me too much. I might not even notice," he laughed a little and began making a plate of food that they'd both enjoy. After this he led her off to a much less crowded balcony just outside the ballroom. They could see inside still but there weren't as many people around.

"Wait, there's a live action one? I only know the cartoon... and the original story."

Scirheah giggled a bit when Fang reminded her about his element. It was true, Fang could just turn his toes into metal and then it would Scirheah getting hurt for stepping on something hard. Guess it would be karma.
"Who knows, I could be wearing shoes designed to destroy toes."
Scirheah said with a small grin, but it was true that some heels looked like they destroyed your own toes and everyone else's around you.

Scirheah zoomed around the food table and took little this and that to put on their common food plate. Her taste was very varied, she wanted to taste new things and if she didn't like them Scirheah could just have Fang eat them. Or maybe dragons were picky.
Scirheah followed Fang to the balcony, and she could visibly breathe easier out here and with significantly less people.
"Yes, I've heard it's pretty great, and the costume designs are nothing to hate."
Those were the ones Scirheah was looking forward to most. She smiled happily and tastes a dish she had never eaten before from the plate. It was a bit weird tasting, and it showed from her expression, but Scirheah kept eating it. She'd get used to it.

"We'll have to watch that one first. Or should we watch it last? Hm I don't know isn't there a live Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast too?" Fang hadn't paid too much attention to Disney movies that had come out recently. He was pretty focused on school and family matters. He spent his free time training and reading books. Though that didn't stop his cousins from dragging him off to watch movies with them. He gave it some more thought as he ate some of the food on their plate.

"We could have a marathon if you're up for it."

Scirheah looked at Fang surprised when he said there were other live action versions as well. Or more like Scirheah had never heard of Jungle book before.
"I know Beauty and the beast, at least. But I have never seen Jungle book, is it worth a look?"
Well, even if Fang said no Scirheah would still watch, especially if she could watch it with Fang.
Scirheah tasted another new dish, and that one didn't taste good at all. She grimaced slightly and nudged the rest of it to the side, so she wouldn't eat it even by mistake.

"I don't have to think even for a bit, of course I'd be up for it!"
Scirheah answered excitedly and briefly hugged Fang's arm. She let go pretty quickly anf blushed a bit when she realized what she'd done. Scirheah cleared her throat a bit, she wasn't used to talking this much and her voice was getting hoarse.

"It's about a human boy who was raised by animals in the jungle. It was a decent enough story... the animals all talked, but living here is that even a surprise?"

Fang grinned when she did say yes to his movie proposal, and was a little caught off guard by her hug. But it didn't last long. There was a hint of concern when she started coughing. He was happy she was talking, but he didn't want her straining herself for his sake. "I'll get you something to drink if you're alright with that."

Jungle Book sounded interesting enough, it was good to know Scirheah didn't need to sit through anything boring. Though she had noted that talking animals were a really common theme in animated movies. It was weird, in a good way.

Scirheah was still blushing slightly when Fang offered to get her water, and she felt guilty for making him look out for her. Well, she was guilty, but it was also nice he worried about her. Scirheah smiled a bit and shook her head. This time she pulled out her phone from her purse and typed her words to text to speech.
"I'm okay if I'll just talk like this for a moment. But thanks for being so nice. With the movies as well."
