Victor noticed an overly happy girl dance about like nobody was watching on the beach. She seemed pretty friendly enough, well I mean, she also seemed pretty independent. He was totally terrified she'd just up and reject his invitation to become friends. Look at how she threw that sand away like garbage, he'd probably be next. Things like that seemed to race through his mind as he viewed the girl from afar, which would seem kind of creepy, but was only because he was afraid to approach her.
But he clenched the paper in his hands, a pdf. he had downloaded and printed about making friends. It told him that the first step to making friends was find a good location for it, and the beach - as far as he knew - was an excellent area. Though he had prepared quite carefully for the trip if things went south, and only sported some light blue swim shorts, as this was his favorite color of them all. Of course, no super pasty kinda guy would go without sunscreen as well!
He placed the paper in his back pocket and began timidly approaching the girl like a rabbit facing off a hungry tiger. Scared for his life, he had almost immediatly forgotten everything the pdf. had carefully told him about making friends and walked up to the girl without even waiting for her to realize his presence, and began:
"H-H-Hello, I'm Victor - and - and-" he began, and continued with listing varied hobbies of his, his favorite food, and 3 'cool' facts about the beach "So-So, that's it. M-My last name is Lowing by the way." He quickly facepalmed himself, Lowing was such an 'uncool' last name - she was totally going to reject him after this for sure.
