"Worst mistake i ever made, ha ha"

Adelina raised an eyebrow. He came here on his own choice, then? Lucky kid. She hadn't really had anywhere else to go but here. "What do you mean?" she asked.

"Well, You like it here?"

The young woman shrugged her shoulders. "I guess. Good and bad things happen though, ya know? But then again, that happens everywhere." Once again, she shrugged her shoulders. "And you?"

"What i mean, is well, theres too much depressed people around here, we need to live our lives while we still got 'em, ya know?"

Well he had a happy outlook on life. He and October would probably get along very well... though October was too depressed to even leave her dorm room. Adelina sighed at the thought of her younger sister; she wouldn't stop blaming herself for Dani's death. The young woman shook her head, coming out of her thoughts. "Huh? Yeah, I guess so. But everyone has their reasons for being depressed. A lot of the people here haven't exactly had pleasant lives, you know," she told him.

"It's nice here, once you get to know people, It's just that most people don't want to be known, ahhh"

"Yeah," the young mother agreed. "But you can't blame most of them for being the way they are."

She shrugged her shoulders. "How old are you?" she asked. It wasn't a spectacular or interesting question to ask, but it worked for now.

"Yeah, I know they have there reasons, you said i was cheerful, but i ain't had the best past either"

Well, not all of the kids here could be cheery, but Adelina didn't bother mentioning that. Instead, the young mother smiled and held out her hand as if for a high five. She could be so lame sometimes. "Hoorah for horrible pasts," she said.

"14 and you?"

"I'm seventeen," she told him.

Adelina laughed at the weird look he had given her, but smiled when he returned the high five. If he could high five people, then he was probably cool. When asked what her aim in life was, though, the young mother sighed, looking at the water. "Honestly? I don't know. I have my husband, kids... I do need a job. Bah, I'm seventeen, I'll figure it out eventually. I've got time." she said, shrugging her shoulders. So what if seventeen was young to have a family? She loved Andrew, and age was kind of just a number.

"What about you?" she asked, looking back to Brendan.

"A Husband and kids, Eh, Now that's interesting"

"Is it really?" Adelina asked with a laugh. Interesting? She hadn't really thought it was, since most people in the world had families. Maybe it was because she was young, but she didn't care.

"Me, I play soccer or football whichever you want"

She rolled her eyes teasingly. "You men and your sports," she said. "I never really liked any other sport except for swimming..."
