The seventeen year old's eye twitched as the cold water hit her feet. She immediately pull her feet away and put her shoes back on, figuring that that had been a bad idea. Adelina ran a rand through her hair, sighing. Dani was dead, and October wouldn't stop blaming herself for it. The mother had come to the ocean in an attempt to just rest her mind and calm herself, but, so far, it wasn't really working. Escape was futile, it looked like.
"But that's life," she said with a shrug, pouting slightly as she rested her head in her hands and looked out at the water. It was slightly foggy out and kind of chilly, but it was obvious that it was spring. The trees that grew where the sand ended and soil formed were getting small leaves, and even though it was slightly cold, it was a spring kind of cold.
The girl sighed slightly, finally just closing her brown eyes and sitting there.
