That was a relief. He was not about to strip down in the middle of the woods just so someone could draw him. Instead, he stood uneasily. Again, he wasn't sure what to do with his hands so he just held them below his waist. He didn't want to move much since Eve was watching him but standing still made it worse. Opting to just look around, Jake hoped that he had nearly done.

"Oh, nothing," he smiled. Jake was almost teasing him about the grin he had on his face since Eve had told him he always wore an emotionless expression. "Let's just say your face muscles work more than you realise." His gaze drifted down to the page where Eve's pencil was scribbling.

Jake didn't want to ask if he had finished yet but he was seriously hoping it was soon. He started to tap his hands on the sides of his leg, making a beat, just so that he could do something. Jake was not the sort of person to be sat still for long.

Jake's answer confused Eve a bit, and he stopped sketching for a second to touch his face a bit. What kind of expression had he made?
"If you want to be cryptic about it then I guess I have no choice but to sketch you with a funny face. The one from when you collided with the branch looked good."
Eve joked and continued sketching. Obviously he wasn't going to sketch Jake with a funny face but Eve rarely joked around, so doing it once in a while felt nice.

Eve noticed that Jake was uncomfortable so he tried to finish faster. He had sketched Jake in the position he had ran in, on all fours. His face was a mix of predatory and exhiliration, an expression Eve imagined a wolf would have during a hunt, if wolves had faces that was. He would add a forest behind him later. Eve added some details to the limbs, some lines to enhance the muscles. Eve himself wasn't that visibly muscular and he enjoyed the artistic value in well-crafter muscles. Jake's were quite nice. Artistically speaking, of course...

Eve finished the sketch few minutes later and he lowered his pen and sighed a bit. He looked at Jake and nodded.
"Thank you very much. It was really nice of you to let me sketch you, although I'm practically a stranger. Do you want to see it?"

"It'll be an improvement!" he blurted out inbetween laughs. He did not really mind what Eve drew, it was more the fact that someone actually wanted to draw him. Though, he didn't really want to see himself adapted onto a piece of paper. "Erm... you know what, I'm good. I'm sure it's very good based on your other work I've seen but... I'll pass," he said, hoping to not come across as rude.

Relieved that he was no longer being observed, Jake stretched out his arms. "Thanks for meeting me this morning. It's been fun." Jake enjoyed having the company of someone new around. He met so many people on the island that he felt like he could go to anyone to talk to. Recently, however, he felt like eyes were watching him since what Kaz did and the dream was putting him under so much stress. It was nice just to get out and have fun.

"So, got any plans for today? I could always walk ya home if ya like. I mean, you're older so it should probably be the other way around but..." he was rambling again. "Anway, like I said, I have no plans today so I'm down for whatever."

Eve closed his sketchbook and nodded when Jake said he would rather not see the sketch.
"I appreciate your trust in my skills."
Eve smiled a little and put the sketcbook and pen back into his pouch. Next he pulled out the small water bottle and drank a bit before chuckling a little at Jake's rambling.
"I don't have anything today, so it would be nice to have company on the way to the dorm. If you don't mind."

"Sure thing!" he exclaimed as he trailed his fingers through his hair, the odd bit of dirt and twig falling out from when he tripped. "Homeward Bound!" Jake yelled as he marched off. He had no idea whether Eve had his own accommodation or if, like the majority of students, he was staying in the dormitories. Either way, Jake went off in the direction of the dorms. Looking back, he gave Eve another smile as he wandered outwards through the thicket.

((OOC: I think this is a good place to end.))

Eve chuckled as he followed Jake, he was going to the right direction. He was a strange creature. But Eve had had a good time and he appreciated Jake for being good company.
