"Lucky for us, keeping away from each other isn't the goal," he had grinned in response before he finished pulling Cam in for their kiss.

It was kind of funny with them all tangled up in the curtains but Kal didn't care. He didn't even care if the clerk was giving them the stink eye- which he no doubt was. Surely they weren't the first couple to be excited to be trying on fancy clothes?

Kal wasn't really sure how long the kiss had gone on. His sense of time had been pretty distorted by how amazing it had felt to be holding Cam so close. His eyes still shown with happiness and affection even as they separated a little bit- but not too far. "Playing dress up at your place, huh? I think we could have some fun with that," Kal winked and quietly nudged Cam out of the curtained area.

Cam didn't have to make flirty joke aloud. It was already floating in both of their minds- they were riding the same wave in the same direction. He didn't let the man get too far though before wrapping one arm back around his waist, with the other hand holding his new outfit.

"Our game of tag is never going to be over Cam," he chuckled and gave Cam a little squeeze as he led him over to the counter. Kal wouldn't dream of having Cam pay for this so he pulled out his card to pay. "I think my costume designer approves of this one so we'll take it. Enjoy your day, sir," he addressed the clerk and paid so they could leave. However he was looking at Cam when he said the 'sir' though. A variation on their inside joke that the clerk would never understand.

"Alright my damsel, should we try to fly?" he asked Cam as they approached the door to leave. With the cold outside Kal was a little concerned that his power might get sapped and he wouldn't be able to fly them all the way, but at least part of the way should be ok.

This wasn't the first and probably wouldn't be the last time Cam had made out in a clothing store's dressing room. Hell, he had done much more in places much more public. So Cam just enjoyed the kiss with a hum of pleasure, not caring about the old man at the counter or possible other customers. Cam was an adventurous, free soul but something in Kal made him want to push it even more.

Cam let go of the curtains as Kal nudged them away from them, and Cam grinned and rubbed his nose against Kal's a bit. The wink Kal gave him made butterflies fly around in Cam's stomach.
"Oh, definitely. I think I might even have some Halloween costumes in there, that should be really fun."
Cam chuckled and winked back at Kal. As they stepped away from each other Cam also wrapped his arm around Kal's waist, almost wanting to burst out singing from happiness like in some Broadway musical.
Hell, maybe he would when Kal and him got some privacy.

"Never? I better prepare myself then, if I'm going to get more raspberry kisses like earlier."
Cam said with a laugh and stuck his tongue out at Kal, but returned the squeeze he gave him. It ws weird how Cam felt like he belonged there, Kal's arm around him and laughing with him. Yup, Cam definitely wouldn't mind if their tag went on forever.
Cam hadn't even thought about who'd pay for the outfit, but suppose it was only natural for Kal to pay for it since he was the one they were getting it for. So Cam just smiled sunnily at the old man while Kal paid, tried not to snort when Kal used their inside joke.
"Goodbye. We'll come again~"
Cam said to the man as they turned to leave, and it was so clear how upset those words made the man that Cam couldn't help but snort a bit as he turned away.
"I don't think he likes us."
Cam whispered at Kal with a grin, when they were a safer distance away.
"And if I'm your costume designer I'll be charging a fee for this at a later date~"

As they stepped outside Cam snatched the outfit from Kal, and swooned against him dramatically.
"Whisk me away on your pickle steed, sir Shells-a-lot."
Cam said with flamboyance, but couldn't hold up the dramatic act and had to laugh in the end.

Halloween costumes. Kal's mind had gone all over the place with that. Cam could have meant so many things with that statement. And knowing Cam, most of the things Kal was thinking were very possible. Cam was adventurous, in a good way, and Kal was curious what craziness awaited him.

Kal couldn't help but snicker at how Cam teased the poor clerk. It was even funnier because he could see how conflicted the man was. Returning customers were always great, but then he'd have to deal with their shenanigans all over again.

"Maybe he was just a little jealous that he couldn't be kissing a hot guy in the dressing rooms instead of working," he had whispered cheekily back to Cam with a grin. "And I guess you'll just have to add that to my tab. I think I owe you quite a bit now, Sir."

He wrapped his arms around Cam's body as he swooned back, laughing. "Hey now Cam, there might be children listening. Saying you want a ride and all that," he murmured in his ear before making sure the man was comfortably held in his arms.

With a whoosh of wind rushing out beneath them he began flying Cam down the street, though only about 5 ft above the sidewalk so they had to keep adjusting so as not to kick people in the head as they went by.

Kal had to focus on what he was doing so he could keep flying the both of them and also make sure he kept hold of his very important passenger. But he could sneak a few glances down at Cam here and there. "Hey, you know you'll have to give me directions. Don't want to get lost heading to your place," he called out after a little bit. Kal knew generally where the man lived but not exactly.

Plus by then the cold was starting to get to him and he could feel his power starting to be sucked away. The wind started to die down just a little bit and his arms burned from carrying Cam. "Uh... maybe we should set down soon though, I don't want to drop you if I get too cold."

Cam laughed even harder at Kal's words, and in trying to stifle it his shoulders shook.
"Oh yeah, every sales clerk's dream, to kiss a hot guy in the dressing room."
Cam snickered as they stepped outside, and Kal offered the flight.

Cam looked at Kal with mock shock, as the guy wrapped his arms around him and murmured into his ear. Cam bapped Kal with a grin and wrapped his own arms around the guy as well.
"I only told you to whisk me away, you're the one offering me a ride."
Cam answered with a whisper and chuckled, making sure the outfit didn't wrinkle and hung neatly against Kal's back.

As Kal began floating Cam squeezed him a bit tighter and made himself comfortable in Kal's arms, as he began flying down the street. Cam kept quiet until Kal asked for directions.
"Oh, right. I live close by. Just take the next right, head down that street for two blocks and then a left. My apartment is the red brick building, the whole second floor."
Cam said, and would point in the right direction when they came to the intersection.

Cam noticed that the wind died down a bit, and when Kal said they should set down Cam narrowed his eyes at Kal a bit. Cam squirmed and hopped out of Kal's arms himself, and pulled Kal down with him. Cam linked their arms and pressed as close as he could without hindering walking too much, in an attempt to warm Kal even a bit.
"Don't push yourself, pickle brain. The last thing I want I for you to get cold because of carrying me."
Cam began walking, nudging Kal to come along. Normally Cam would've turned into a fox to avoid the phantom pain in his limb, but he wanted to walk along with Kal.

Well, Cam wasn't wrong. It had been Kal who outright made the joke. But they were both obviously thinking it. So Kal had just grinned and focused on flying off into the... well it wasn't as romantic as riding off into the sunset together but holding Cam in his arms as they slipped through the city was still pretty darn romantic.

Kal took careful note of the directions, though they had plenty of time between each turn but of course he did end up landing before too long. The cold literally took Kal's power from him as the cool air chilled his body.

He was disappointed he hadn't been able to fly Cam all the way home like he wanted. It probably wouldn't be possible to do that any more until winter ended in a few months. But he gladly held Cam as close as he could while walking. The wind coming from Kal cut off completely once they were walking again and Kal shivered a little. "And so the damsel helps the poor knight in the cold. I'm sorry Cam. This knight gets a little weak in the winter. I just wanted to fly with you a little before the weather gets even colder," he apologized and gave the man a squeeze.

Fortunately Cam felt nice and warm against him and seemed to help a fair bit with the cold. While they waited for a light Kal leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek before stealing a nice hug. Nothing fancy, just a quick peck and then a moment to enjoy the warmth.

Then the light changed and they could walk again. "So, a whole second floor, huh? Sounds fancy," he teased as they started walking again. They couldn't be too far away from Cam's building at that point. Once inside Kal would be able to warm back up, for sure.

Kal did seem like the tropical and warm weather type, so Cam wasn't surprised cold and winter literally sapped his strength. Cam rubbed Kal's back a bit, and smiled happily when he gave him a squeeze. Cam answered it before speaking.
"In this situation we should call you the damsel and me the foxy knight, here to save your day. Worry not, my dear maiden. My castle is near and should warm you right up."
Cam chuckled and tried to make his tone all grand and lower than it was in an attempt to sound knightly.
"Besides, we can fly around a bunch after the winter when flying won't turn you into a popsicle."

While waiting for a light Kal suddenly gave Cam a kiss on the cheek and a brief hug, and Cam answered it with one arm and pressed his cheek against Kal's. His cheek was pretty cold. Cam similarly snuck in a small cheek peck after they separated.
"Does that count as tag?"
Cam murmured and snickered.

Cam raised a brow with an amused smile at Kal's statement about his apartment.
"Oh, yes, extremely fancy. Everything is made of either gold or marble and I have three butlers."
Cam laughed a bit at the image he conjured up, he would actually hate that. Cam didn't like gold or marble and he was too nitpicky to leave the cating of his home to a butler, much less three of them.
"But manage your expectations. My family may be rich but I'm paying the rent of my apartment, so it's humble."

Kal chuckled. "Maybe I should be asking you to sweep me away then, huh? Lead on and we'll just both be damsels and knights," Kal had snickered as they drew ever closer to Cam's grand castle of red bricks.

And yes, he'd happily fly Cam all around once it got warmer out again.

Cam's soft cheek against his own nearly made Kal stumble it felt so nice. Despite the cold, or perhaps intensified by it, he felt like just curling up. He leaned in and enjoyed the closeness for that brief moment and then of course Cam tagged him back as they pulled apart to walk more.

"I think it counts. Besides, i'm not shellfish. If those are tags it means I have to tag you next," Kal whispered in Cam's ear as they approached what had to be Cam's building. A big red brick building that looked like it had been there for quite a while but was well kept. Cam's castle, as it were.

He laughed at the description offered by Cam. Honestly he lived with a dragon and even she would probably call a house made entirely of gold and marble way too much. Three butlers though? Maybe. "Oh good, Marble is too cold anyway and who needs all the people interrupting everything to serve you? Besides, you've already seen my own humble apartment," he leaned against Cam a little as he said it and recalled bringing Cam back to his place to chill after surfing and sushi. His place was decent but fairly modest. Lyrseir wouldn't waste money on anything super expensive unless it was for the guests of the Spa.

Kal nudged Cam a bit. "Alright let's go in before you really do have a Kalcicle for a boyfriend," once more he snickered along with his shivers from the cold.

"Don't encourage me. I have telekinesis, I'll turn into a fox and actually sweep you away, Muscles."
Cam joked and poked Kal on his bicep, snickering.
"Besides, it's all about equality these days, so we can be both knights and damsels. Oh! Knamsels! Or maybe damsights."
Cam burst out laughing at those weird new words he had just made up, they sounded just so bad.

Cam could feel even through his clothes that Kal was pretty cold, and Cam rubbed his arm a bit as Kal leaned in to whisper an answer to him. Cam snickered.
"I'm looking forward to that tag, there's no wave I'd miss it."
He said back with a quiet voice and could also already see the building he lived in. The landlord had said it was the oldest building on the block, but it had aged well and Cam's apartment inside it was modern.

Cam looked at Kal with mock shock, when he called his own apartment humble, and he huffed, setting his free hand on his hip.
"Come out of it. You're apartment can't possibly be humble now that Camille Abel has been in it."
Cam joked and flipped his hair over his shoulder, grinning.
"Besides, any place you're at is the best in my opinion."
With those words Cam leaned back against Kal with a happy, almost goofy grin and squeezed his arm a bit.

The two arrived before Cam's apartment building, and Kal was all ready to get inside. Cam chuckled and lead him up the stairs, that lead to the second floor balcony with Cam's front door.
"Well, we can't have that. I'm pretty sure Kalcicles are definitely not something you can get your money back from."
Cam laughed and as they arrived in front of his door he already had the keys in his hand. Cam opened the door and pushed Kal in before himself. Warmth immediately greeted them at the door and even Cam sighed happily. The entryway had a shoe rack and a closet for coats, and had a small narrow hallway that turned at the end and just barely blocked the view to the rest of the apartment.
"Wait a sec. Stay."
Cam lifted a finger, telling Kal to stay put, and hurried into the apartment after removing his shoes and putting them neatly on a shoe rack. He entered a large room with kitchen corner, that was separated from a living room area by a bar counter with stools and everything. Cam picked up a red fluffy blanket from the dark grey, rather wide couch, that had a semi-big wide screen TV facing it with a low table between them.

Cam hurried back to Kal and if he had already taken off his jacket Cam would throw the blanket around Kal with a wide smile, but concerned look in his eyes.
"Starting to get warmer, my knimsel?“

Kal sure was tempted to reply that he wouldn't mind so much being swept away by his foxy boyfriend. Instead though he just laughed along with Cam and flexed a little bit when he poked at his muscles.

The man was indeed fairly cold in that weather- if it had been below freezing he would have literally needed his cane to get around. Even with all the muscles. Kal was definitely a summer child, but at least he had Cam to spend the frightful winter with now.

And thankfully they had made it to Cam's building without too much trouble. Kal felt a little guilty for poking at Cam to hurry a little bit but he was cold. Besides, it wasn't like Cam didn't want to bring him inside anyway. "I'm pretty sure you can get your money back from a Kalcicle. I hear they aren't too bad at making iced coffee. Or was that spilling iced coffee....?" He grinned at Cam and then stepped inside the man's apartment. Or rather he was pushed inside by a soft but forceful hand from Cam.

That warmth though as soon as he set foot inside. It was kind of like the sensation you get when you take clothes out of the dryer as soon as it stops and then just kind of lay on it. Kal closed his eyes and sighed with relief as the door was shut and he knew the cold was going away.

"O-ok," he replied as Cam made him stay in the entryway and ran off deeper into the apartment. Kal bent down to untie his shoes and put them in the rack just as Cam had. He had hesitated and was only just in the middle of taking his arms out of the sleeves of his coat when Cam came flying back over with a big ol' blanket to fling around Kal.

The big fluffy red blanket wrapped nicely around him and he sighed again as he held it in place with his hands and made his way with Cam over to the couch to plop down. "Warming up, yes. Thank you. I'll get back to that game of tag after I stop shivering I think," he reassured Cam with a smile and gestured for him to sit with him.

Kal took a look around the apartment then and whistled. "Now this is a damn sight," he joked, calling back to the goofy word combinations Cam was making just a few minutes prior. "No really, your apartment is great Cam- I feel comfy already." That was mostly from Cam being right there next to him. Oh and maybe the insanely comfortable blanket and warmth from the heat in the building probably helped a little too.

Cam was a bit pushy in the way he basically shood and pushed Kal into his apartment, but it was all just Cam maybe being too much of a worrywart. He had once seen what a cold could do to a person weak to it and Cam was made a bit paranoid by it, though he knew Kal wasn't that weak.
Or maybe he was and Cam didn't know that. Anyway, when Cam got Kal inside and warm and wrapped in a blanket he internally sighed from relief and externally he grinned.

After wrapping the blanket around Kal Cam followed him along to the main room. After hanging up the rented outfit Cam plopped down next to Kal without hesitation, slipping under the blanket and wrapping an arm around Kal. Cam made himself comfortable and set his head on Kal's shoulder, feeling how Kal was still shivering.
"I think melting this Kalcicle is more important than the tag right now. And after that's done I expect you to pay your tab~"
Cam said with a small sly smile and playful tone, looking up at Kal.

Cam snickered at Kal's joke and also let his eyes wander around the apartment. He always kept it clean and organized, and the colour theme was governed by dark wood and white surfaces, that were coloured by splashes of red or blue or moss green.
"Oh, this little shack? I just try my best with what I'm given, no big deal. It doesn't even have any gold or marble, disgrace."
Cam used his best snobby voice, huffing in mock disgust, and waved the compliments away with his hand, only to grin and snicker a moment later.
"In all seriousness, thank you. I sold everything in my old apartment and bought all the furniture for this one from the island."
