Winter Dance

Kacey looked at whoever said that, but Ian was the only one by her. "That’s not what I meant." She said out loud, "I meant why are they having a dance. And stay out of my mind...." Kacey said as she turned around trying to see who the person.

Ian averted his gaze from the crowd to Kacey. "I wasn't in your mind." said Ian getting really confused. Ian scratched his head, "They are having it because it is winter, to like celebrate it or something." Ian shrugged not truly knowing why either.

I'm sorry. I didn't realize you might not enjoy having someone in your mind. I myself find it quite fun. He turned and winked at Caitlin, 'Should we make her think it's her date that's doing it?'

Caitlin nodded. This was getting good.

"Ok......" Kacey said still scanning the room to see who might be looking at her or something. "Just stay out whoever you are." Kacey said loudly hoping whoever it was could heard her.

Ian looked aroudn the room to see if anyone was akwardly staring at Kacey, because he didn't really have a power that allowed him to see who it was, nor did he really know what was going on anyway.

Turning away from her, so as to not draw her attention with his gaze, he said to Caitlin 'Hey, a little fun fact for you, whenever someone says something, it is echoed as a thought in their mind. So I can hear everything she's saying. He smiled, then focused on the girl's mind again. Oh come now Kacey, you came to the dance with me. Why not let me inside your mind?
Simon connected his mind with Caitlin's so she could here what was being said.

Caitlin listened in, trying not to smile.

Kacey turned to Ian, "Would you stop it!" She said looking at Ian wondering why he was doing this to her. But for some reason, the look in Ian’s face didn’t seem like he was the one doing it. Then the thought came to her mind, how could he when he didn't have POWERS!

"I didn't do anything!" Ian said getting a really innocent look on his face.
