The Miler siblings slowly walked into the ball room from the first floor entrance. Adelina looked at her brother, who she knew was just holding back one of his lectures. She knew that if she hadn't warned him, he'd start being the protective big brother and want to know everyone she danced with. She, in no way, wanted to be embarrassed tonight.

Jesse bit his lip. He wanted to against his sister's wishes and start telling her not to dance with strangers, and to let him know who she was going to dance with at all times. He knew that she wasn't a little girl anymore and that she needed her space, but he still felt the need to protect her. "Um, Addie — "

Adelina looked at him with a 'please don't start' look, and he stopped. Jesse sighed, and looked around. Lexie wasn't there yet. He walked to the wall the girls weren't on, hoping that she would arrive soon.

Adelina looked around too, and her date wasn't there yet as well. She frowned, and walked over to the wall where the other girls were. She straightened out her black dress, and adjusted the long sleeves. She looked at the other girls, but said nothing to them. She turned her gaze to the ground.

"Refreshments sound good.... And I stink at formal dancing. But for you, I'll try." Smiling and cheerful, Caitlin began to walk towards the table.

Beatrice, keira, and Seth walked in. Keira and Seth had no dates but they came.
Beatrice told them she'd meet up with them soon. She walked over to jason. "Hey. Sorry I'm a tad late. Keira and Seth came too and Seth was obsessed with having the messy hair he inherited. but see, if he inherited it, wouldn't he have it naturally. Well, whatever," she said blushing hoping she hadn't just rambled on like that for no purpose.

Idiot. Idiot. Idiot. Why had he come? Noah had been away from Winter long enough to make him forget why he'd agreed to be her date in the first place. He couldn't dance, everyone else at the dance would be too caught up in all the flirting and whatnot to be able to maintain an intelligent conversation, and it was loud. So. Very. Loud. And crowded. Noah sighed, rubbing his temple where a headache was already starting to form.

And where was Winter, anyway? He'd never be able to find her, not as short as she was. He sighed, taking a seat at the end of the grand staircase and dimly watching the crowd for her. They should have met up before the dance, come in together.. At least then she'd have got her grand entrance that she had to have. He sighed, leaning against one of the pillars and relaxing as best he could.

Jason closed his eyes as he heard the slow dance. Of course, right when I get here. He smiled apoligetically at her, and took her left and in his right, and put his other hand on her waist. He had a sulky expression as they started dancing.
End slow song, END.

Simon followed Caitlin to the table. Then grabbed a cookie. 'Good, I'm starved.'
Going over to the punch, he poured Caitlin a glass and brought it back to her. Handing it to her, he said, 'For you madame.'

Sarah looked around for someone to dance with. She didn't really see anyone but kept her hopes up.

Boring. Boring boring boring. Ed sighed, throwing the last strawberry in the air and catching it in her mouth. She stood up reluctantly, starting to walk down the stairs and gaining speed when she saw the figure at the bottom, finally ending up running at top speed and hugging his head when she reached the bottom. "You're here!" She grinned, releasing him only in favor of a light kiss on his cheek and plopping down next to him. "Is it fun?"

He flew in at a high speed but somehow landed gracefully on the balcony. He fixed his hair and brushed off the lapel of his tux. "Now... where is 'Aphrodite'..." he said, amusing his self.
