Headline: Bon-Bon the Invisible Rabbit Found!

Story: Bon-Bon, a 2-year-old Holland Lop whom curious condition came about due to a magical mishap, is in good health and back home with their loving family. After 10 long days of searching, Josie McDougall is finally reunited with their invisible friend and her nightmare over.

“It was awful” reported Josie as she retells her harrowing experience “I realized Bon Bon wasn’t in their cage I knew that they would be nearly impossible to find due to them being invisible all the time. I was scared that he might get stomped or crushed because nobody will be able to see them! It was horrible! I am so glad to have him safe and sound and appreciate everyone whom helped in the daunting search effort.”

When Josie first learned of the disappearance of their invisible there were many people whom thought the rabbit as a hoax as all of the missing photos of Bon-Bon showed only an empty cage with rabbit prints and half eaten food as proof. But many more reached out and helped organize a grassroots search effort even if such a search would be futile. Even the local police department sent officers out to help find the missing rabbit but were having no luck. Bon bon was thankfully found when a neighbor filed a report about missing vegetables and police where able to locate the rabbit hiding nearby.

“When I first got the report about citizen whom was claiming that someone was eating their vegetables, I had a hunch the culprit may have been Bon-Bon and after some careful searching, Officer Ryan Marshal was able to sniff out the rabbit hiding under the shed despite being invisible. It was truly a lucky break and I like to thank everyone who participated in helping return Bon-Bon back home.” said Officer Trisha Applegate when questioned how they were able to find the elusive invisible rabbit.

Bon-Bon made waves on social media when their disappearance was first reported, with many thinking of the missing invisible rabbit as just hoax. But for Josie it was a 10-day nightmare since Bon-Bon is finally over. Bon-Bon is reported to be in good health and is happily munching away on their favorite meals such as lettuce and broccoli. Hopefully Bon-Bon will have had enough adventures and gardeners can rejoice that their green patches are safe from Bon-Bon.

Headline: Mysterious Rocks Giving People Good Luck?

Story:
Have you noticed a strange, ordinary round rock waiting for you by your front door when you come home? Dozens of Manta Carlos residents have been reporting these strange rocks with no remarkable traits aside from a single notch carved showing up on people’s welcoming mats. What purpose these stones have and whom the mysterious distributor is are among the many questions these people are having. While many are just tossing these rocks into their backyard, some are claiming that these curious rocks are enchanted to make the holder luckier than usual.

Rebecca Wilder, a young college student attending Starlight Academy, found one such stone sitting outside their apartment door. Thinking the little stone as somewhat neat, they stuffed it into their purse and carried on with their day. But as they day progressed, she couldn’t help but noticed how things all seemed to just come together at once for her suddenly. “Ever since I have been carrying my little good luck stone things have just been working out for me!” vouched Rebecca as they proudly show off their lucky rock during the interview “I finally got that raise from my boss that I had been asking for, I got 100% on pop quiz from one of the schools most difficult professors, and I found 100 bucks just laid there on the floor! Good stuff like that never just happens for me out of the blue!”

Zhou Yang, an inspiring graphic artist, also speaks of his positive experience ever since found their stone on their concrete step. “Yeah I thought it was a little weird but a little cool so I just put it into one of my pockets. I have been feeling pretty bummed ever since my girlfriend left me so I was just going to my usual coffee shop when this beautiful girl with brilliant blue skin accidentally run into me. Normally I am shy when it comes to people so I was just rubbing the stone in my pocket for comfort. So, me and this girl began apologizing then talking. I must have said something smart for once because she then joined for a cup of coffee and gave me her number. Like, that wasn’t at all how I thought my day would turn out. The cherry on top was finding out my art page was suddenly blowing up and I have been getting new commissions. I was stunned!”

Some are more skeptical of the supposed powers of these stones or if they are even magical at all. One professor of magical studies had the chance to examine the stone and said that the only remarkable thing about these stones is how unremarkable they actually are. “I assure you there is nothing special about these rocks whatsoever. I investigated every conceivable means of magical detection and there is not a single trace of magical residue on these so-called luck stones. Nor do the simple marks have any meaning nor draw forth any sort of power. Really, I think it’s just happy coincidences from a few people over exaggerating what these river stones can do. Perhaps it is just the belief that they hold any power at all that makes people think they actually do anything, just like a placebo.”

Whether they are really are magical or just mundane, its probably best to think twice on kicking that rock off the side of your porch. Cause who know knows: that little rock could be lucky after all?

Tidal Shifts Sink Boating Docks

The Manta Carlos Department of Fisheries and Oceans has noticed a significant drop in tidal activity since the beginning of this month. Experts are unsure what is causing tide levels to drop in such an inexplicable and constant manner.

Normally, tide levels are affected by the Moon and its cycles. However, the sudden decrease of eight feet seems to have little relationship to this month’s Full Moon since authorities became first aware of the phenomena when a fishing boat tried docking on April 2 and couldn’t because ocean water levels were too low.

Headline: Teardrops to Gemstones: Artist makes Jewelry from Tears!

Story: In a small parlor tucked away on street corner handcrafted jewelry is put on display for passerby by. Behind glass are the brilliant blues of Sapphires and the radiant red of rubies sparkling in the daylight. While it expected that a hardworking jeweler to put their blood, sweat, and tears into their craft, the case of Ava Hartfort she is literally fastening her tears into her everything from earrings to toe rings.

“I guess as far as the island goes, I am a pretty ordinary human. In fact, I feel that the only really special thing about me is that my tears turn into gemstones.” remarks Ava when asked a bit about herself. But what Ava has done with her gift is extraordinary as each piece of gem she cries out makes for a unique story more precious than the gem itself. As Ava said herself during the interview “When it comes the jewelry market you have all sorts of competition here so you have to make yourself all the more distinct. Especially when your competition includes the likes of master craftsmen dwarves whom have thousands of years of experience or enchanters blessing rings with novel charms. So, what I really sell is the story behind each gem in piece of jewelry I sell.”

We asked if being able to source her gemstones herself was an advantage to compared to competition to which Ava replied with “A bit but not as much as you would think. I mean I don’t need to go out to by gemstones but the not all the tears I shed turn into gemstones that are of quality enough to put into jewelry and I still need to buy other materials like gold and silver. Plus I had to buy a lot of my own tools and equipment when starting up the business and those are really expensive.” We also asked if it hurt for her to cry. While there is their can be emotional pain depending on what she is crying about, physical pain is absent as Ava explained that the tears don’t turn into gemstones until they fall from her face.

“So, whenever I start crying about something, I pull out my handy dandy notepad and write down all the details going into why I was crying and write a little story to go along with gemstones made in that incident. I am sort of an emotional person so I tend to cry quite a bit! I cried jubilant yellow sapphires a lot during my wedding to my wonderful wife, cried dark rubies when I learned my grandpappy passed away, and these white and black diamonds when I saw this video online about gay penguins raising a baby chick together! Oh gosh I think I am going to cry again just thinking about it again!” Ava then laughed as they shed a few tears which then became precious gems as they fall to ground. The interview was then put on pause as she collected the colorful, hardened tears into a glass jar.

Headline: Twin-Tail Terrors Trash Cafeteria

Story: Yesterday hungry students were forced to stand outside the school cafeteria during lunch as academy staff were left cleaning up the aftermath left in the wake of troop of twin-tail foxes breaking and entering. According to school officials, the wily group of foxes of managed to slip in through a back door left ajar and ran amok in the eatery as the gorged themselves full of meat and pastries being prepared. It was around 11:47 AM that the twin-tails where discovered by one of the school chef’s whom initially tried to chase them out by banging pots and pans together. The cafeteria was soon thrown into chaos as the frightened animals scampered all over the cafeteria as the rest of the kitchen staff tried to catch the critters or chase them out. 10 minutes later the twin-tails all managed to escape together out the same door they entered in from, one of which was reported have been seen dragging a long link of sausages as they scurried back into the wilds.

In the aftermath of the incident, the cafeteria was left in disarray as tables were turned over, utensils scattered on the floor and much of the food ruined. At least 4 staff members were injured and had to receive treatment by the school nurses. According to sources at least two suffered bites and scratches from the twin-tails, 1 from being struck in the head by a frying pan, and 1 from slipping on a banana peel during the chase. Left only minutes before the start of lunch, the school was forced to close the cafeteria so that the mess could be cleaned up and possible fears that the food was contaminated by the twin-tail incursion. Many students whom are reliant on the school for their meals had to either go hungry for the lunch period, rely on the school vending machines, or grabbed a bit off campus instead.

The school has started an investigation into the incident to try avoid a similar incident in the future as well as reminding students to not feed the twin-tails as this makes them more reliant on us for food. This recent event only demonstrates the increasing boldness of the native twin-tail foxes in recent months and has led to calls for further actions to be take against the pests. After all, how much longer must we wait before someone gets seriously hurt?
