Crime is a fact of life on Manta Carlos, and the Manta Carlos Police Department would love to know all about that. If you have a character committing a crime, becoming the victim of a crime, or even just witnessing it, we encourage you to post here and officially log it.

Type of Crime: Kidnapping, being held captive against will, abuse, illegal drug trafficking, murder
Reporter: Cosette Cygne
What Actually Happened: Cosette Cygne was kidnapped two years ago and through magic forced to obey orders and stay captive. She was abused both physically and mentally. The committer of these crimes, Ulric Nyström, has also been dealing and trafficking illegal drugs, killed and tortured people.

Type of Crime: Missing Person (Suspicious Circumstances).
Reporter: Hotel Staff.
What Actually Happened: Liun Rukt’In went on a two week trip, the second week of which he was supposed to spend in New York. However, an incident on the second day meant he was seen using an ability by some people who would kidnap supernatural beings for experimentation. Liun was caught, and has been missing since. This information is currently not known, however.
He was reported missing on the 3rd January after hotel staff noticed they had not seen him in a day. After his room was checked, it was found to have been broken into, plus searched but nothing was stolen. The incident was reported to the police, then it was forwarded to the Rukt’Ins on the island plus veil agents and island police after an additional day. Liun is believed to have been missing since the 2nd January since it was the last anyone heard from him.

Type of Crime: Assault/Attempted Murder
Reporter: Armis
What Actually Happened: Armis was in the forest when he stumbled onto his very hostile mother Nasci. After some verbal back and forth she attacked them and the two fought. Both sustained injuries after which Nasci wandered off and Armis returned to the school. Armis's dorm parent saw his injuries and informed the school and the police, leading them to talk to Armis and start and investigation. Nasci remains at large.

Type of Crime: Nonconsensual disclosure of sexually explicit images and videos, Distribution of sexually explicit images of a minor
Reporter: Aisha Splendens (With Sprinkles' assistance)
What Actually Happened: Someone (Will later be noted/revealed to be Gregory Crowther) recorded a video of Aisha, a 17-year-old, intoxicated and performing sexual acts on several males and posted it on social media. Needless to say, she did not give her consent and is also too young to be recorded in such a fashion anyway.
