Private Finished Why does this always happen?

Here Ecta just raised an eyebrow when he called her by name, then let out a tiny laugh when he finished. "It's so good of you to recognize that you are not my equal, Altizica," she stated as she placed her hands on her hips and smirked.

"Becuase, may I point out that you may have beaten me down before, but I am not the one who was eventually beaten?" she told him very matter-of-factly.

"Also, please don't you lecture me on manners. You invited me in. I have not harmed you or threatened you, so stop acting like a newly born Eldritch."

Anita walked over and slapped Alt. It wasn't hard, nor would it hurt. Anita was far too weak for that. But she stood strong. "Dad, She's our guest, kay!"

She then turned to Ecta. "Your weird, but nice, kay. Doesn't mean you can be an ass and anta... anto... be mean to my Dad, kay!"

She put her hands on her hips. "Think about how Aluin would react if he saw you both arguing, kay."

Ecta watched with genuine interest as Anita slapped Altizica, and instead of being chastised. upset or even surprised at young female Eldritch's reaction, Ecta cocked her head. Ignoring the girl's admonishment, she floated towards the girl.

"Is slapping something humans use to make others apologize, or is it an Eldritch custom of some sort, one that I am not aware of?" she asked Anita in a very curious, yet dead serious tone.

"It's a Family thing, slap Alt if he's rude, kay," She said. If Alt had red cheeks, she'd know to be angry with him.

At least this stopped the argument.

"A family thing...that's very interesting," was all Ecta said as she turned to look at Altizica, her expression unreadable though as she followed him with her gaze as he carried Anita out of the room. Ecta theb nodded at Alt´s promise to talk later, turned around and walked straight through a wall as she left the house.
