Shiny here (again), this time with a new character and a plot in mind :D Cass is a very private, mature girl, who <s>likes</s> needs to be in charge, and doesn't really care if everybody thinks she's an alien because of how inhuman she tends to act.
She does act like a human when it comes to her powers, though, because they generally screw up. As a result, she despises them and tries to never-ever use them, which of course means she can't control them ;D She gets premonitions, though they're hardly ever useful...
Annnd she's a telepath. A really strong one, whose power is unstable, and consistently backfires. One of the bajillion things that can go wrong is accidentally creating a mind-link with another person, or between a group of up to four people. There's no known solution to it yet, though it can be muted by distance, or by just concentrating on yourself as hard as possible. Another way to cope is to learn to build a mental wall; given her predisposition to mental powers and her severely private nature, she should get the hang of it and teach it to the other victim(s) quite quickly.
I would love to kick off her MCI career by having her power backfire and create a mind-link with one or more people, if anybody's interested. She could turn up to help the targets out because of a premonition and be forced to use her telepathy. Hilarity may well ensue ;3
