Alistair hadn't been in Manta Carlos for long, but he already felt at home. The City had a MAGIC DISTRICT, why wouldn't he feel at home In all proper honesty he had no idea what half of the stuff being sold was, because he was raised strictly with Gaelic/Celtic Alchemy. His family were only crafters, not casters which was a rare occurrence.
He was in the town now, wandering in and out of various shops, touching things, looking at the various items and the footnotes floating above them. After looking at a peculiar plant root that (according to the web-chart that appeared over the bin) was nearly completely made of sulfur. He almost bought it since sulfur was useful in plenty of creations, then he saw the price. He didn't think twice about dropping it and walking out.
Alistair continued out of the shop and walked down the street. He had spent long enough in the district that many more notes were appearing, and above shops he had entered were large floating labels with lists of the items for sale. He was walking ad smiling through the crowds while reading the masses of notes surrounding him and not paying the slightest bit off attention where he was going.
