The Day Before
Xylina wasn't good at processing her emotions, in fact she was a hundred percent sure that even before the kidnapping she was pants at it. It took her awhile to realize that just maybe Vega wasn't has horrible person as she thought he was. It was a later surprise when she realized she didn't really think he was a horrible person to being with. She wasn't exactly given a road map on how to deal with people or feelings or even relationships. She was sitting at her favorite frozen yogurt shop contemplating all things Vega and she wasn't even getting that normal feeling of paranoia. She didn't really know what to think of it, were they even friends? Enemies didn't spend hours in line trying to get them something epic for Christmas. A person also didn't bake like a billion cookies for someone that they hated and wanted to kill. She was so confused as to why she did those things that she had spent the entire holiday avoiding Vega and thinking in her room.
Whether she wanted to admit it or not, Vega did meet all the requirements for a boyfriend she had. He was a Dragon, a Gamer, and smart. There was also good looking, athletic, charming, funny, mischievous, handsome, dreamy, strong...WHOA WAIT. Lina quickly scrambled to get the dreamy look on her face reflected back in the window off. She did not just serious go off day-dreaming about...him did she? She groaned, she knew that her brother was totally right she had a crush on Vega. It was probably the worst development of her life...what if it changed their friendship. Sighing she decided that she probably shouldn't change the way she acted around him, he would find out.
Then again she kind of wanted to be nice to him, after all they were friends and she didn't exactly see him as the enemy. Perhaps she could creep him out by the sudden change in niceness, it was kind of stupid how that was enough to justify her being nice to him. She wondered if it was a good time to actually tell him everything. Would she have to explain why she was so jumpy and paranoid, she was sure he had been there that time she had a panic attack in the empty classroom. While she worked through her feelings she wasn't aware of the stupid smile she had on her face and if asked she would say she was dreaming about the new video game that was coming out.
THE NOW
Xylina was sitting at a secluded area in the library, she was very much avoiding Vega. She had found that after her recent discoveries...being around him was tough. She was trying to be nice and she did succeed but she often had to brush it off. Which is why see leaked pictures of him Shirtless to the fan-girls in class. She had to pay one his team mates a hundred and fifty dollars and the threaten him silent. She might have also accidentally shocked him when they brushed hands but that was a totally nervous reaction.
She groaned as her head hit the table, she looked around to make sure that no one saw her. She was not going to stress over Vega so she pretended to actually be studying, which might help with forgetting about the disasters of admitting your feelings...at least to yourself.
