"Why are you doing that?" he wondered. He had seen that done once before in a movie, but for a different curcumstance. he didn't understand the point of mutilating a flower out of sheer boredom.

Joe shrugged. "Because I use the petals to make nice smelling poupory(sp?)." She gathered up the petals.

"And that would be??" he asked. He had never once heard of it. He had been so cut off from the word for most of his life he didn't understand alot of what went on around him.

"It's a nice smelly thing you put in your dresser to make your clothes smell good." She smiled and started plucking another flower.

"Thats.. interesting...." he said. When he had been trying to escape his master, he had just thrown out the clothes that didn't smell good and stole more. He never thought about Popuri. Now, though, he would be free to think about all the good things in life, even though he was always going to end up alone, forgotten, and hated. he chose not to think about that. While he thought all these thoughts, his face adopted a very blank distant stare. He looked very strange.

Joe noticed the strange look on Kartik's face and frowned. "You okay?"

((OoC: Have they introduced themselves?))

((Ya..))

"Oh.. ya I'm fine... Just.. THinking about some stuff..." he said, looking away. Although it could not be seen through his pale skin, he felt himself blush. He realized he must have been making a strange face. He looked at her again, and sighed. He heard a rustle of leaves from behind him and he turned away, glancing with his sharp vision for the creator of the noise. Nothing. He looked around, but htere was nothing there. He was worried his Master had found him and he would end up killing Joe and Himself, but the master was not there.

Joe didn't believe what he said but only nodded. "Oh." She picked up all the petals and instead of keeping them, threw them into the wind.

"Ya. " he said. He sudenly had one of his sights. He saw the master jump out of the forest and attack Joe. He shut his eyes and sat down, shaking. He hated those...

Joe again looked at him. "What is the matter?" She hoped he didn't give an evasive answer. Because if he did she would probably tackle him.
