Vespa would shift, her wasp wings carrying her faster than than her feet could. Katie would come into view and she'd shift back into human form. "Katie!" she'd run up beside the human girl, "wait stop."

She'd step partly in front of her, placing her hands on the other girl's shoulders. "Stop a minute," she'd say with a sigh, "talk to me."

"I....what...why'd you run?" she'd ask, looking at the girl, her socially inexperienced mind trying to sort it all out. @Big Jeffe

Katie

Katie sprinted as fast as she could, which ultimately wasn't very fast. Certainly not faster than Vespa. Not helping things was the fact that she wasn't paying attention to where she was going, she just wanted to be alone. Away from the two of them.

She hadn't expected Vespa to give chase, but she soon heard a familiar voice calling out to her. "Leave me alone.." Her voice broke as she said it. Not that it mattered because pretty soon Vespa was right in front of her.

Finally coming to a stop, she looked anywhere BUT at Vespa. And took several moments to catch her breath. Finally when she could speak again, she only said "I... I'm sorry." She opened her mouth to continue, but closed it. What could she even say? That she was scared Rem and Vespa would get mad at her for getting mad at them, so she ran away? That sounded really bad in her head, and she couldn't imagine saying it out loud.

Vespa wasn't really sure what to do, this was all new to her, every bit of it was something she'd never experienced before. "You're....you're sorry?" she wasn't sure if she should be, the demon was annoyed but she didn't really think Katie was to blame.

She'd look at her a moment before finally hugging her, Katie seemed to like hugs, so maybe a hug would help. "I.......does this help?" she'd ask, making the hug a tiny bit tighter.

The demon would hold the hug a while before releasing her. "You seem to like hugs, and when we make out
, would that make you feel better?"

Katie just stayed silent as Vespa hugged her. If she was being honest, she was a bit surprised by this. Normally, she hugged Vespa, not the other way around. She wasn't even sure if Vespa liked hugs. Though she had to resist the urge to collapse into Vespa's arms.

"A little.." She answered when Vespa asked if the hug helped. Though Vespa soon followed it up with the offer of a kiss, something Katie really didn't feel up to at the moment. She'd just yelled at Vespa, and now Vespa wanted to kiss her? It didn't feel right to Katie.

"I'm sorry for.. for yelling at you." Katie said quietly, clarifying why she had apologized to Vespa. She felt she should have found a better way to get Vespa and Rem to calm down. She wasn't even sure why they were so angry at each other in the first place.

She'd shrug. "Its ok, sometimes yelling is good," she'd brush a bit if hair from her face, her hair had gotten a little messy from the flying. "If you think you need to scream, then scream, I don't mind it really."

"Me arguing with the runty angel.....it upset you?" she'd ask, tilting her head, thinking for a bit. "Made you angry?"

"Why'd you get upset?" she'd ask, not angry, more curious with some concern mixed in, though her face was as grim as usual.

Katie.

Vespa saying she didn't mind that Katie had yelled at her was a relief. Though now she was worried about what Rem might think of her. Did he hate her now? What if he started telling other people she was a big jerk and then other people began to hate her? Her breathing began to speed up and Katie nearly screamed at herself to just breathe. She was NOT going to have a panic attack in front of her girlfriend

"Because! I'm not supposed to be the one to get angry.. I'm not.." Katie said quietly, while she was buried her face into Vespa. In a lot of ways, she actually envied the demon. Vespa wasn't easily scared, she was much less of a push over, she was tough, and she could get angry without worrying if she'd hurt someones feelings in the process.

"Do you think Rem hates me now?" Katie asked with concern, hoping that Vespa would give her some much needed reassurance.

"It's ok to get angry," she'd say with a snort, "if you're angry you should show it, don't hide it." She didn't hide it, though she looked generally displeased most of the time.

She'd sort of growl when the possibility of Rem being angry at Katie was brought up. "He fucking better not be," if he was then she'd have even more to say to him. "If he is.....," she'd make another growling sound.

Vespa would look at her. "Anyways," she'd sigh, gently rubbing Katie's back. "You ok?"

"But... What if by getting angry, I just make people mad at me? I don't want to upset anyone.." Katie answered. She honestly wondered why everyone couldn't get along. That would make things much easier, because then she wouldn't need to get upset with anyone.

She flinched when Vespa growled at the idea of Rem being angry at her. The last thing she needed right now was Vespa going off and somehow making this whole thing worse. "Vespa.. please.." she said hoping it would help calm Vespa down.

After that she took several deep breathes, and tried to focus on calming down. Finally, she felt confident enough to respond. "Ye.. Yeah, I'll be alright.." She trailed off before doing her best to look Vespa in the eyes. "We should probably go apologize.."

She'd shrug. "Everyone gets upset sometimes," even with her relatively low life ex6she knew that. "You wanted me to stop so you yelled......even though it was that dumb angel's fault."

The reaper would sigh. "Fine, I'll be good," at least for now, despite being unfriendly with most she didn't like seeing Katie upset.

"Apologize?" she'd grimace and shake her head. "I'm not apologizing to that little runt."

"What? Why not?" Katie could understand if Vespa was still mad at Rem, but she was as much to blame for that situation as Rem was. Staying mad at him wouldn't solve anything. In fact, this would probably just serve as a justification to Rem as to how bad demons were.

"Just.. Please?" Katie asked, hoping that maybe Vespa would cave, though she doubted it.
