Andrew turned off the car and put the keys in his coat pocket, making sure the tickets were still there. He got out and went to the passenger side. He opened the door for Addie.

Adelina blinked when she got out of the car. Why hadn't she noticed all the huge buildings earlier? Why hadn't she figured out his hint earlier? They were in New York City! Oh, she felt like such an idiot right now. She looked around — pigeons, smokey air, traffic in the streets, busy sidewalks... yep. This was N.Y.C alright.
"Don't tell me we're seeing Les Mis TODAY...." she said softly, voice filled with disbelief as she looked at Andrew.

"Okay, I won't tell you." Andrew said with a teasing grin. He put his arm around her shoulders. "That's okay, right?"
Adelina smiled and shook her head at the fact he wasn't going to tell her. She put an arm around his waist when he put his arm around her shoulders, and nodded her head. "Yes, that's more than ok!!! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited!! What time does the show start? What time is it now? Come on, we have to go find the theater!!" She was tempted to start jumping up and down, but stopped herself from doing so.
"We've got half an hour." Andrew said, laughing silently at her excitement. "Do you know where the theater's at?" He asked, putting his other hand in his pocket.
Adelina nodded her head. "Yep, come on!" she said, and quickly started walking in the direction of the theater. As soon as they got there, she was relieved to find that not many people were on line yet, since they still had a half an hour. "Thirty more minutes till Les Mis starts!!" she said, kind of in a sing-song voice to the tune of 'One Day More' from the show.
"One short half hour, til the show starts!" Andrew replied, setting his words to One Short Day, from Wicked. He handed Addie the tickets with a half-smile. He hummed the rest of the song.
Adelina laughed. "Oh, I can't wait... thank you so much for this Andrew!! I can't believe you actually went through the trouble to get tickets to this..." she said, wrapping her arms around him in a tight hug.
As soon as the theater opened the doors, she quickly went inside and showed the person their ticket, and nodded when she was told where she was sitting. She waited for Andrew, knowing that he would most likely be sitting next to her.
