"Probably the second, I can't see myself really... moving super fast," he said thoughtfully. He started contemplating what all that could entail. "I mean punching wit even greater force. I'll probably never fly, let's be real. But I could definitely jump good by channeling it through my tail or feet. Maybe generate shockwaves too..."

It's a versatile power base, let's be real."Rory approached Kaiju and punched his shoulder. It didn't do much to him, but they were sparring or something? She didn't even remember now.
"Shooting metal would be dope, like just straight up bullets. Yeah that'd be a legit possibility. I guess I'm gonna have to train more," he said with a grin.
Rory punched him but... of course he didn't really feel it at all. He gave her the flattest look and sighed. Yeah they were fucking doing this weren't they? Travis just simply opened his mouth and fired a weak controlled beam at her. It was enough to likely knock her on her ass, but nothing too serious.

Rory didn't activate her inertia control quick enough before Travis had shot her off her feet and onto her ass. She huffed and blew a strand of hair from her face."Oh, fuck you."
She pushed herself up, jumped to the side, and darted at him. Rory spun to the side at the last second to slip behind him and strike out with a foot at the back of his knees to knock him forward and off balance.
"I'm not the same weak girl you once knew, Travis King!"
One thing Travis envied about Rory was that bullshit mobility of hers. She might not be able just take him head on, but she could totally pull shit like this. He was off balance, and she could probably take him down. Except... no. He'd reposition himself, sweeping his tail wide and move to face her.

"Yeah. I'm the princess and you're my evil step-mother whose kept me in a tower my entire life. Play along." She leapt away as Travis threw his tail at her, landing on her feet easily. "Fight me, ya dingus. Pull my hair. Punch me in the gut. Pull me apart like soft bread."
"I ain't playing fucking princess," Travis huffed indignantly.Travis shook his head and went in, definitely going for that gut punch. Following that up with another blast of his kinetic beams for sure. She asked for a fight he would fucking deliver.

"I got it from you, dad!" Rory sidestepped the gut punch and pushed at his shoulder, using his own momentum against him to throw him off balance. And when he sent a beam at her again, this time Rory was prepared, it struck her right in the chest but she didn't move. Not until she flew upward. Higher. And higher. And higher.
"I ain't yo dad! Now get your ass back here!"
Travis yelled as she flew into the air. He fired an energy beam at her, knowing she'd probably avoid it. He could probably stop her dead at top speed if she was planing on coming at him like that. Wait, how fast could she go? Whatever, firing more lasers her way.
