Marisol sat in the ballroom. She'd gone straight there from talking to Dev. She was sitting next to a window, with her book open on her lap. She wasn't reading though, she was staring out the window thoughtfully.

She was amazed that he'd asked her to go out. And she was starting to get nervous too. She'd never actually gone out on a date-date before.

She was so lost in thought that she didn't hear when someone came in...

The young man fixed up his bow-tie and cackled softly. He ran a hand through his blonde hair, making it messier than it already was, and opened the doors that led to the second floor of the ballroom. There would probably be a dance coming up soon, and he just had to rehearse his entrance.

Of course, someone would be at his side, drooling over him. It always happened that way. Maybe that Love-Nothing girl would go with him. Though he didn't really go for the schizophrenic type.

The young man stepped down each step, taking his sweet time in doing so. He was sure the band would wait for him, since, after all, he was Shiloh Lancaster! He smirked, knowing that he probably didn't even need this practice. But he loved himself too much to go without it.

He finally got to the landing before the first floor and bowed, pretending people were applauding wildly. "Oh, no, no! No need to applaud, you're EMBARRASSING me!!" he said, waving his hand and flashing one of those famous "melt-the-girls-heart" smiles.

He then noticed something was amiss in this ballroom; he wasn't alone. Shiloh looked around and blinked when he spotted a green girl. A new project? Shiloh smirked and laughed to himself, walking down the rest of the steps.

It was time to get some more followers.

He bowed again when he was closer to her. "And what's a pretty girl like you doing here all by her lonesome?" Shiloh asked. Oh, if only he could make roses with that little wand of his! He stood straightly again, another one of those dashing smiles on his face. "Did some fool stand you up?"

He had his work cut out for him with this one.

Marisol had turned away from the window when the boy came in. She decided instantly that he was insane, because he evidently wasn't talking to her.

When he did speak to her, she rolled her eyes. Thanks to her low self esteem, she didn't find herself pretty at all, so rolling her eyes was just a normal reaction.

"No, of course not. I just came in here to be by myself. I...ah...I've got a date tonight and I felt like reading before I went." She said. Why did I just tell him that?

Shiloh pouted when she rolled her eyes at him. He had wanted to go defensive and go to war, but... he wouldn't get followers that way. And he desperately needed followers and people to drool over him, or he would just go insane.

Oh, so she had a date tonight? The young man smirked. He was going to make sure she was ready for that date and he would make sure the guy taking her out loved her immediately. But was that really a good plan?

After all, she might not be his follower if she had a boyfriend...

Either way, he would make it work! He would sabotage that date if it meant he got a follower.

"A date, eh?" he repeated, smirking still. "There's no time for reading, books are a complete waste of time. Come, come! I'll help you get ready. I'll do your hair and get you a nice dress and I'll steal some perfume and you can smell pretty, too!"

I'll help you get ready.

Now Marisol knew he was insane. But whatever. It wasn't like she couldn't use the help. She closed the book and stood up.

I'll do your hair and get you a nice dress and I'll steal some perfume and you can smell pretty, too!"

"Um. Okay. Thanks. I'm Marisol." She said a little shyly.

She was accepting his help! She was much easier to get to then Love had been, that was for sure. Shiloh grabbed Marisol by the wrist and looked her over, nodding occasionally. He was too wrapped up in this to even give his name. "Ok. We don't have much time, but I think we can pull it off," he said, letting go of her and walking off.

"Follow me and stand straightly! Walk with confident, elegant steps! Don't slouch!" he commanded, watching her to make sure she obeyed.

Marisol straightened and walked like he said. She felt awkward because of her long, gangly frame. "How's that?" She asked, making an attempt but not totally succeeding at being elegant.

She began to feel completely stupid. Why did I agree to this?! She thought.

Shiloh watched. "Ok. Be sure of yourself!! Overly sure of yourself!" He was teaching her the ways of a snob, that was for sure. But he definitely had good intentions. "And for elegance... uh... here. Walk like this."

He started walking, trying to set an example. He stopped and looked at her again. "Now you try."

Marisol frowned in concentration, trying to act sure of her self. But when he started demonstrating, she lost it. She started laughing, giggling at first, but it quickly turned into a really hard laugh.

Shiloh immediately pouted, eyebrows furrowing. "What are you laughing at?!" he asked, slightly angry. How dare one of his students mock him! "If you want to go on a successful date, then stop clowning around and PAY ATTENTION! Or I won't help you and you won't EVER be loved and everyone will think you're a commoner!!" Shiloh huffed, staring at her.

Why couldn't people just pay attention and do what he asked? It wasn't that hard!
