"Ermm... b-books I guessss?" replied Iesha after some thinking. Honestly she fine with either option Tadashi suggested. All that mattered to her was that it was secluded. She was soon distracted by her sort of step brother Azure whom finally arrived.

"O-oh... h-hi Azure!" greeted Iesha as Azure as he inserted himself next to Celeste. She was happy to see him here... even if he made her strangely more nervous than usual at times. Watching him make introductions him make introductions with Meena, it was looking like things were going well so far. Honestly part of her was worried that Meena would felt nervous considering that cats, wolves, and serpents were common predators or rabbits... just weird thought she had.

Soon enough another newcomer joined on the growing gathering of people but Iesha was totally unfamiliar with this person. They looked strong and... sort of intimidating. Iesha was quick to relax however once she saw him gave out a gift and introduced himself as Kalvin. He seemed nice enough though Iesha still slithered a few inches back out of caution.

"H-h-hii Kalvin..." quitely mumbled Iesha, wanting to be nice but not draw too much attention as he seemed to be a bit busy.

Tadashi waved at Kalvin, recognizing his adoptive father's assistant. It most certainly wasn't the first time he'd seen him. Even if some of the times had been as a sneaky cat lurking around, as you do.

But he was more interested in the guests closer to his own age so he smiled at Iesha and nodded. "The library it is. But I guess you can't really climb up to the top shelf so the comfy chairs it is," he laughed a little and then looked between the cautious girl and the growing group of adults. Another whisper for Iesha's benefit although probably others might overhear, "it's ok. He's pretty nice. Probably just as weirded out as we are by all this."

Zora had arrived a few minutes late to the welcoming home party with her boyfriend in tow, a last-minute phone call had tied the CEO up.

Glancing around the large room, her hand in Stefan's, she finally found who she was looking for.

"Aunt Filomena," she called out happily as she hurried over to where her grandfather's assistant Kalvin was, her other aunt, Celeste, Azure, and other family members like Iesha and Tadashi.

"Welcome home," Zora said, her voice full of emotion as she let go of Stefan's hand and quite impulsively embraced her tiny aunt.

Meena nodded along as Azure explained himself. A werewolf attuned with the moon and the wind, interesting. A connection to the elements was a good start, perhaps she could help him uncover budding magical talent. She shall keep Azure in the back of her mind, but for now she will leave the awkward boy be. "A pleasure to meet you as well." If she felt she could get away with it, she would whisper that he should join Tadashi and Iesha on their undercover mission to sneak away to the library.

If Meena could hear Iesha's thoughts, she would praise the girl for having excellent insight. Without her calming crystal, Meena might have made her own escape to the library. Her magic was, as always, excellent, and the crystal kept her heart at a smooth, even beat.

A young man made his way over, and Meena awkwardly accepted his gift of wine. It was huge in her small arms and she had to set it down in order to shake his hand. Though, it was amusing to see a nearly six foot tall man crouch down to shake her paw. Meena made eye contact with Celeste, and hoped her sister understood the silent message of: please set this wine somewhere, I can not possibly continue to hold it.

She returned Kalvin's greeting with her own, "Nice to meet you," but her heart wasn't in it. The young man seemed nice but Meena didn't think he had a magical bone in his body. He was soon an afterthought as Zora arrived and made her way over.

"Zora," Meena greeted, true warmth in her voice. Zora sweped her up into a hug and Filomena squeezed back. "It is good to see you." Meena said, "And who is this young man with you?"

Iesha was reassured as Tadashi reaffirmed his good character. She then gives Tadashi an appreciative nod before finally answering him about sneaking off the library.

"Mhrmm? Oh... I'm a-a-actually a better c-climber than I look." countered Iesha. Sure she was a bit on the heavy side and lacks feline grace but her tail muscles were strong enough to push herself up high places. But... would a bookshelf be able to support the additional weight of a near 900 pound lamia? Probably not. "B-but... I think the c-comfy chairsss w-will do just fine~"

Before they could think about going anyway, she was distracted by Zora coming in and wrapping Meena in her arms. She smiled at the sweet gesture. It was good to see that Meena was so loved...

"Umm... d-did you want to m-maybe get going? Ssso that I m-may sssee this ssspot you k-keep talking about?" inquired Iesha as they whispered to Tadashi as she tried to not look too conscious.

Stefan easily kept up with Zora's strides as she made her way through the residence. If he was being honest, Stefan was actually considerably nervous. He hadn't met any of Zoraida's family except Celeste. Yet here he was coming to a celebration of the return of one of their own family.

When Zora dropped his hand and hugged Filomena, Stefan couldn't help but smile. Joyous occasions were always good, and Stefan loved to see Zora happy.

"Stefan. Stefan Jogstad. Zora's boyfriend. t's a pleasure Ms. Filomena."

His voice never faltered and his usual confident and outgoing personality was on full display as he gave a small bow of greeting. His lopsided grin coming out to make an appearance.

As soon as their brief interaction was over, Kalvin quickly made his way to the sidelines. He took that time to look around the room at the various people. He only had a vague notion of Rafael's family history and background. He never really cared to ask his boss about them, mostly because he wanted to keep things professional. He also figured that a few months in the company isn't enough time to become buddies with one's boss yet.

He picked a spot near the door, his subconscious very aware that he was an outsider among family members. He nodded at the snake girl as he passed her direction. "Hello," he said to the shy snake girl, politely returning her greeting from earlier.

"It's good to see you too," Zora replied softly, feeling an unexpected lump of emotion in her throat. She hadn't realised until now how much she had missed her mother until confronted with her mother's sister, her aunt.

Breaking away from the hug, Zora smiled brightly when Stefan introduced himself.

"Yes, this is Stefan, Aunt Mena. My boyfriend," she confirmed proudly. "He's an amazing artist, you should hear him play sometime," she suggested warmly.

"Hello, Stefan. Nice to see you again," Celeste smiled welcomely as she turned her attention from her sister and niece to the demigod. "Have you met Tadashi, my son Azure and my daughter, Iesha?" she asked, making introductions of those who had arrived.

"And that young gentleman over there is, Kalvin, father's assistant."

Tadashi nodded quietly at Iesha and was just about to lead the way to the library when he heard his name and stopped to bow towards Stefan. "It's nice to meet you but... see you later." With that he beckoned for Iesha to follow him and he shifted back into his cat form to leisurely head for the library and away from the rapidly growing crowd of adults.

Speaking of the growing crowd, Felen stepped in a bit after Zora and Stefan. Wearing one of his nicer sets of elven robes and keeping his demonic arm mostly covered by the large sleeves. "Hello everyone."

"H-hello Sstefan!" sheepishly greeted Iesha and giving him a friendly wave. With the growing crowd, Iesha was eager to get going with Tadashi and started following him after he gestured fro her to come with him.

"Y-yeah, I'll sssee you all later!" after giving everyone a wave farewell, Iesha continued to follow the cat leading the way to a more quite place to relax. That was enough introductions for one day.
