Tucker chuckled softly, hearing Mikhainon call him by his real name, "No one's called me by that name in a while," he muttered, raising his gaze up to meet Mikhainon's. "But really, six hundred years doesn't quite seem so long if you were in my place. I tend to lose track of time." he added, taking the cup back into his hands and letting his fingers trace the lip.

"I wouldn't really say 'upset'. I'd prefer to say 'disappointed'," Tucker scoffed, "I wanted to spend my time here in Manta Carlos without any worries other than my wayward daughter. But you're right; I should be a little more thrilled. It's a shame that's not quite the case."

"No one's called me Yuki in a while," Mikhainon replied, smiling Yuki's characteristic smile. "I go by Gabriel Baltimore here —" he made a dramatic gesture with his hands, "— and I've been doing quite well."

Gabriel Baltimore, despite staying in Manta Carlos for only a month, was a name that fell from almost everybody's lips. Gabriel the Proprietor of Gomorrah. Gabriel, Chloe's father. Gabriel, the amazing lover. He had a habit of cultivating a persona that people worshiped. He supposed it could be attributed to his natural charisma.

"Takeru," he said softly, keeping his eyes on him now. "We've already had our problems in the past. There is nothing more I can do to harm you. The worst that could happen would be you being too sore to go to work in the morning." He picked up his coffee stirrer and placed it in between his red lips, running his tongue on the tip before biting. He raised his eyebrows suggestively.

Tucker's eyes softened for a moment when he saw that smile Mikhainon used to have, back when he was just Yuki to him. "Yes, but well, I do prefer that name much better."

Yuki Nakimura was one person Tucker never really forgot. At times he would try to disassociate him with Mikhainon despite the fact Yuki was, in fact, the Duke of Hell himself. The thought of the demon was a bit unsettling for him but at least the thought Yuki could calm him, even just a little. But other than reminding Tucker of him, Mikhainon wasn't planning to bring back Yuki completely.

Tucker kept quiet for the time Mikhainon continued to talk. Tucker didn't give him so much of a reaction other than a seemingly deadpanned look in his eyes. He didn't come to Manta Carlos for this."Unfortunately, nothing of the sort really fits my plans for my stay here," he said, taking another sip from the tea, "And, by the way, I go by Tucker Watanabe now."

Mikhainon laughed. He did love this stupid game. The chase was just as enjoyable as the conquest... the conquest that was certainly going to happen, if he had any say about it. If he couldn't get his soul, he'd have the next best thing.

He supposed modernity made him more forward with his advances. He did like the abruptness of modern day relationships, considering he could be more like his usual self. He thought most people liked that, but he remembered Takeru fell for the demure and wilting Yuki.

"Really?" He tsked. "You must creak like a rusty hinge."

It really has been that long since they've crossed paths, Tucker thought. Or perhaps it was only because Yuki was reserved and gentle. And right now, Mikhainon wasn't so.

"That's quite presumptuous of you, Yuki," Tucker remarked, "Do you honestly believe that you were the one and only even after all this time?"

Tucker knew the game Mikhainon was playing at and he'd already decided he wasn't going to take part in it. It wasn't because he loathed Mikhainon — there were bitter feelings from the past encounter, but not quite as much as hatred. That doesn't stop Tucker from wanting to keep his distance, though.

Mikhainon picked up his coffee with two hands, as gently as Yuki Nakimura would. Little by little, he was easing back into the old persona, incorporating the little mannerisms that Takeru used to pay attention to.

"I suppose I was just jealous," he said gently, shrugging. "I met you for business, for selfish gain even, but..."

He looked away, expression wistful. He placed his hands on his lap and the fingers twitched. "...I've grown attached. I suppose. Would you believe that, even after six hundred years, I couldn't get you out of my mind? There was something special, there. And I know you felt it too."

Tucker grit his teeth. Mikhainon was trying to manipulate him and that didn't sit well with Tucker. Mikhainon was just there simply acting like Yuki but he did so almost just as Tucker would remember. It reminded him of everything in his past about the feelings he had for Yuki. Even the bitter taste left when he realized he had been fooled. But here he was now, relieving everything.

"Really, now? Are you sure it isn't just because I got out of that deal?" Tucker said, laughing bitterly, "Because from how I gather, to you, Yuki was just a persona you assumed to blend in. That Yuki was the one that was dear to me. But apparently, he wasn't real."

"What's real and what isn't are simple arbitrary concepts, my dear Takeru. Yuki's existence doesn't necessarily contradict Gabriel or this one, and Yuki can come into existence yet again, if you wish it."

Mikhainon stood up and circled Takeru's chair. When he reached an area he wasn't looking, he shifted into "Yuki" the beautiful Japanese man with long, black stream-like hair and a soft blue yukata. He sat on Takeru's armrest, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. He smiled at him as softly as he did when they first meat.

Tucker looked at Mikhainon with distaste. What he had said was true, and Tucker was not one to deny facts but there were some things that didn't rely on facts alone.

Tucker's knew he didn't have to watch Mikhainon closely when he had gotten up from his seat — Tucker knew that Mikhainon wouldn't harm him. At least, not physically.

He caught his breath at the sight of Yuki, just as he could recall him. For a moment, he almost forgot Mikhainon. Tucker closed his eyes as he chuckled softly, "I didn't expect you'd go this far," he said through gritted teeth. Seems like it was no trouble for Mikhainon to bring back what had been in the past.

"What are you planning to do now, Yuki?" Tucker challenged as he looked up.

Mikhainon leaned closer, letting his fingers graze lightly on Takeru's cheek. He inched closer, seemingly to kiss Takeru —

— instead, he pulled a card with nothing but a phone number on it and dropped it on Takeru's lap.

And that was that.

He smiled devilishly and left the cafe, transforming into a raven and flying off into the bright sky. He could've pursued him, really, he doubted he would've been able to resist him in that form... but he liked the idea of him stewing in the idea to the point that he would resort to calling the number. The game was so much more fun that way.
