Luna clenched her fists, opened them, closed them again, and repeated for a few moments before answering. This wasn't a mad clenching of the fists, hell no. She was seriously debating on whether to push it. He took longer because he was washing his face? Bullshit. It doesn't take that long to piss and wash ones face. If it took longer than putting the popcorn in the microwave for two minutes, putting the popcorn in a bowl, then the popcorn cools off completely, then there's something wrong. Hell she even had time to put some powdered cheese in it to make it stand out more...

She took a huge, loud breath in and held it for a split second before letting it out quietly. She gave in. That happiness he was pulling...maybe it wasn't just a front. Maybe it was his way of cheering himself up from before when he, then she, broke down . God, she was conflicted about that...but she decided to let it slide. This time.

Ignoring that, she spoke to Nix instead. "...Alright...Alright. You're right. That was silly of me. I worry too much...ahem...Movie time? I seasoned the popcorn so it's not just butter, but cheesy butter..."

Nix looked cheerful again, which was good. Luna relaxed knowing that he was alright now, but the worry was still on the back of her mind. She smiled anyway.

"When? Since we met silly," cue the wink.

"Let's go eat it. And let's go watch some shit," she said, giving Nix a light, playful punch to the arm. Luna went into the kitchen and grabbed the bowl of popcorn and beckoned for him to follow.

"Anything in mind that you want to try watching, that ISN'T just a trailer ya goof?"

Nope. Ignored that. Luna stepped back and went into the living room to sit on the couch, whilst also putting the popcorn in her lap. She picked up a controller and switched to the 'search' option on the video platform, typing up the title Nix gave her.

"You comin' or what? I'm going to eat aaaall the popcorn."

"PFF alright, if you insist," Luna said as the movie came up on screen. She felt the couch cushion jump up where she was sitting, and as a result a few of the popcorn kernels fell out of the bowl.

"Oiii you're spillin' the cheesy goodness," and she took one and ate it. "Nomnomnom these are mine then."

She giggled and lightly shoved his arm. She clicked on the play button on-screen and the movie started. "You never actually explained what the movie was about. Should I be worried?"

Wuss.

Luna kept popping more kernels into her mouth as Nix talked.

"Sounds interestiiiiing. Did I ever tell you I rarely watch horror movies? I feel like I did but also feel like I didn't...I dunno maaaan," she said whilst shrugging.

The intro was still playing with the opening credits and establishing shots. Though there was dialogue being said a little.

Luna put her left hand down onto the couch beside her, intending on maybe, just maybe, holding Nix's hand but that might've been pushing it. So she instead offered it by letting it rest on the couch. He might take it, he might not. She really felt closer to him now, and happy, and this is what her happy mind wanted her to do.
