Danger grinned. "Well, in all truth, I used to be a pirate. Since I was 7. You have to learn to defend yourself really fast." he shrugged, immediately regretting the action. "But them my ship got blown up, so I came here." he replied honestly. Slowly but surely, he was learning that he didn't need to hide what he was here. Besides, as the bear said, he was one of the best fighters of his age, and could take care of himself.

"Please, if you would sit down, unless you truly must leave to meet a prior engagement"

Danger smirked lightly. "I can sit. I just wasn't comfortable with watching somebody I just met dance." he explained, easing himself down into a sitting position so that he didn't jar himself. Him mind could block out the pain, but if he moved suddenly, the block was broken and he was sore again. He also subconciously supported his side with a hand.

Sagari continued to dance around. It had been a while since she had exercised this much and became winded. She looked over to see that James had sat down with Arty, she decided to sneak off to the locker rooms to get some water to drink and wash her face free of sweat giving them even more privacy and herself some time to think. Arty had NEVER talked to anyone other than her before. She wondered what this meant...

Arty looked up at the boy, piracy had not been the answer he had expected. Not that he thought it was a bad thing. The girl who had created was a gypsy he couldn't be wary of this young man without being wary of her, and to be completely honest he was used to pilaging and many other things accompanied with the life Sagari chose for herself. Along with the random bursts of dancing.
Piracy, at the age of 7. That had to have been a hard life for someone of your young age. Oh and of the dancing, that is just Sagari, I've grown used to it. She loves to dance, and sing. If she get's happy, or bored. I still get embarassed when she starts in the middle of a store, or any public place. But that is what she grew up with as a gypsy and she knows nothing else. he said with a shrug. His brown eyes noticed that James was supporting his weight with one hand on the bench. Usually Arty discouraged Sagari from using her powers, he himself had deprived her of at least two or three years of her life when she brought him to life and he still felt a sting of guilt every time he thought about it. But you knew his pain had to be terrible if he had grown up a pirate his entire life and was still in that much pain.
You should just let her heal you. She usually does not heal others so when she offers it means that she truly feels as though your pain is either not deserved or very great. I do not know what she thinks when it comes to you but I think that you should take the offer. I know that you must be thinking that she will want something from you in the future but that is not how she thinks. She grew up in an environment where you helped others get along, but you did not seek out something in return. They would help you if they could. He said, hoping that the boy would understand where he was coming from.

Danger nodded his head. The bear knew what he was talking about. "I understand. But...Something tells me that I shouldn't. Besides, it won't kill me to heal by myself." he sighed, shaking his head. It was the physical pain that kept his mind off the fact that all of his friends had been brutally murdered, and his Captain killed. Without the physical pain haunting him, he'd have to face it.

He rubbed his chin, not particularily surprised to find that there was some stubble on it. He hadn't been to his dorm room since he came here, and over several nights, he hadn't slept at all. He purposely moved his arm past where it was comfortable, feeling the pain wash over him, taking over his senses. It wasn't nessicarily a good feeling, but it felt good to him. "You seem very wise." he remarked easily to the bear. It wasn't weird for him in the least, he treated the bear as an individual, like a human, and he didn't mind at all.

Arty shrugged off the boys compliment, he was what he was. He had spent a good portion of his life reading books, any books he could get his hands on. Psychology, philosophy, anything and everything. He noted the boy move to an uncomfortable position.
something, is going on inside that boys head...and certainly not something good if he wants to wash it away with pain... It troubled him. He would have to speak with Sagari on this matter at another time...

Sagari exited the girls locker room her hair was down and mussed up but she didn't mind. Her face was glistening with small water particles that she had missed, and was slightly red from being winded. She smiled when she saw that James and Arty were still talking. She didn't really want to disturb them...so instead she just stood there and watched them. Arty looked as though he was having a good time talking to the boy. The boy though, was in pain again. He looked unshaven and skinny. She should invite him to come eat.
She walked forward and said
Wow! I'm starving! Would you like to come get something to eat with Arty and me, James?

He glanced up at Sagari and smiled lightly. He'd not been eating either. He supposed that he'd have to eat eventually, and better to eat when around people so that he didn't have to eat in silence without thinking. That left room for other stuff.

"Sure. I don't see why not." he spoke, his voice still accented in it's own strange way, a mix of all the languages in the world. He stood then, standing to his full height, as he always did. He immagined that he rather looked the part of a pirate right now, unshaven, gaunt. He was stronger than he looked, but that wasn't really the problem. He continued to smile, but as usual, it didn't reach his eyes.

Sagari smiled and picked up Arty, if she didn't carry him it took forever to get anywhere with his short legs.
So, where would you like to go? There's the cafeteria, but the city isn't far from here and I'm sure they've got a few restaurants. she said surveying his smile, it seemed genuine but it obviously wasn't complete. His eyes were hollow, but tinted with pain.
She leaned her head down against Arty's and breathed into his ear, they little sign for when she felt something was amiss. It'd been that way since she was a child.
You pick, I don't mind at all. Oh, and my treat. she said with a complete smile.

Danger shrugged awkwardly. "Well, to be honest, I don't really eat that much, so I think it'd be better if you chose." was his reply, and he offered a charming grin, showing a part of him that hadn't been there before. The old Danger, before he had come here. He didn't really think he was fitting his name right now.

He shifted his weight from foot to foot as she waited for him to reply. He ate so little that he didn't really know what he liked to eat. He really hoped he'd take her offer. However, if she didn't he'd just suggest they eat at the cafeteria.

Sagari smiled. Okay, she'd pick.
Let's fight the norm. How about a restaurant. Can't be more than a ten minute walk and besides, we're going to have to eat in the cafeteria ALL the time once we start classes.
She smiled at him, he looked as though he might be feeling better, that made her happy.
If it's okay with you that we go to the city. I just have to go to my dorm and grab my money, you can come with if you like. I won't tattle on you. she said jokingly with a wink.
She had fun messing with people, but Arty was glaring up at her, he hated it when she broke the rules. Oh well!
