The Sun disappeared as the night sky engulfed the island. Stars sparkled above the bright lights of the strip. The party was just beginning. Crowds of people moved from place to place all in the hopes of a thrill. The various clubs opened their doors, and the hotels prepared for drunken love affairs. Among all of these adults was a teenager masquerading as a wild college-aged woman. No one would guess otherwise with her elaborate burgundy mini-dress, her cropped black jacket, and knee high boots showing off her long legs. Her pink thighs exposed to the cold. Still snow remained on the ground, but finally it was not further accumulating. No need to hide inside.

Her silver headband sparkled along with her burgundy and silver drop earrings. Perhaps tonight she would have another fresh catch. She would be content with just having fun too; a few cocktails and some dancing never hurt anybody. Aisha flipped open her compact; her makeup was on point. She clicked it close. Now what club would she go to tonight? She could afford the high-end places, but the hole-in-the-walls could make for rowdy fun. It probably would've been an easier choice if she had someone to go with....

Anyone seeing the young blonde haired woman would say that Bel was a rebel at heart from the way she was dressed that evening. Looking way more confident than she felt, Bel was wearing a short black dress that was low cut in front and scooped in the back under a short woolen jacket that was hanging open and a pair of high heeled black boots. She wore just the slightest hint of makeup except for the cherry red lipstick and winged eyeliner with lashes.

Bel was, despite all appearances, not a rebel and not used to rebelling. But after what the gods had done, she was on a mission to basically tell them to f*ck off and to make them regret they had ever chosen her to be Beltaine's reincarnation on earth - or that was what she kept telling herself.

The truth was Bel was hurt, angry and heartbroken, and just wanted to forget about everything for a little while, and so she had accepted an invitation by one of the college boys to a club that she was now waiting impatiently outside of.

One of the popular college student hangouts was taking forever to let people in. She noticed the crowd beginning to pile up. Being rather familiar with her upperclassmen, she winked and waved at a good chunk of the people. With a confident strut, she skipped to the front of the line. Aisha leaned to the side with her hand on her hip. Her sparkling grin paired with a disturbingly sharp glare.

"So how about you do your job and stop standing there like a plank of wood?"

She tossed a wad of bills at the bouncer's face. Blinking, the shades-wearing golem looked at the money then looked at the merperson tossing it at him. His next move was to shrug and let the pretty fish lady in. The queen stepped forward with exaggerated hip sway. Her gaze briefly switched back to the crowd; it fell upon Bel.

"What are you waiting for? It's party time!"

Though technically a statement meant for everyone, the gaze gave off the odd sense of heightened attention on the heartbroken goddess. A light snicker escaped Aisha's lips as she turned away, entering the club with such confidence despite not being legal.

Bel had sort of been lost in thought when the girl had walked by her, but the sudden quietness of the people in the line and those standing around her and made her perk up and take notice. Glancing at the front of the line, she noticed the expensively dressed young woman who exuded a cocky confidence that Bel found admirable and brought a smile to her lips.

And when the young woman turned around and addressed the line, Bel felt that the comment about partying was directed at her especially and moved forward past the others in line, purposefully ignoring anyone who complained as she strutted into the club.

Spotting the young woman as soon as she entered, Bel made her way over to where she was, "That was truly something," she admitted as she removed her jacket and placed it on a table. "I'm Bel by the way, and I just wanted to say thanks. I was getting rather bored waiting for them to let us through."

Aisha was making small talk with the patrons when she heard a new voice. She turned her head to see the crimson-lipped woman from before. Her eyes narrowed slightly, as if further examining her.

"You just need the right words! Though a few bills doesn't hurt either~"

A giggle escaped her as her gaze shifted over to the bar behind her.

"I guess since you introduced yourself, I should do the same. My name is Aisha, and I'm a rather popular guest. So I'll cut to the chase: what do you want?"

Despite the potentially biting question, there was a certain playfulness to it. If it was flirting, manipulation, or simply goofing was unclear. Her cocky smile didn't give much away either. Internally, she measured the girl's worth to her and tested her for any vulnerabilities.

Bel's eyebrow raised at the question, and ran her gaze over the girl, now using her godsight and found her worthiness to be a bit, if not very, questionable. Not that Bel actually cared or not since Aisha was not asking Bel to bestow love, protection or fertility on her.

"And I'll cut back," Bel replied evenly as she maintained eye contact with the girl, not really caring if that made her uncomfortable or not, "Nothing basically. Just thought it'd be polite to say thanks."

"Anyways, I'm getting myself a drink," she stated matter-of-fact-like. "Care to join me?" she offered, not actually expecting the girl to accept, but at least Bel couldn't be faulted for not being generous.

No stumbling on her words, no awkward jokes, and nothing that'd irritate her right away. Seemed to have an actual spine. Aisha saw no harm in hanging out with her. Her grin widen.

"Sure, let's drink!"

She winked and lightly hip-bumped the girl before sitting down on one of the bar stools. She twirled around to face the bartender and wall of bottles. Her fingers tapped rhythmically to the song playing in the club. Without looking, she posed a simple question to the goddess reincarnate.

"What kind of drink you fancy?"

Her eyes darted about, looking for any handsome potential mates. For now, that was a no. Eh, there was still plenty of time! Or maybe....no, she wasn't into females sexually. ...usually. Maybe if she had a fun personality with that pretty face. Assuming she'd want anything like that anyway. For now, there was no manipulation; the mermaid swam along with the vibes.

Bel was actually surprised at Aisha's turn about when she accepted her drink and playfully hip bumped her. She had not really expected that of her. In fact, Bel had gotten the sensation that she wasn't worth the girl's time, but obviously, she had been wrong.

As they sat at the bar, Bel flipping her long hair back with a hand as Aisha drummed her fingers, both of them probably looking quite sexy, but rather high maintenance to anyone watching.

"Not sure, umbrella drinks are fun, but I think I want something with a bit more kick," Bel told Aisha as she looked at small drinks thing on the bar counter with the bar's in-house specials. The drinks had curious names like "Hemoglobin" which was a fancy blood cocktail and "Moonlit Madness" which appeared to have a hint of wormwood in it.

Glancing up from the list, she gazed for a second at Aisha, meeting her gaze when she looked her way and grinned, "Wanna be adventurous and try something off the bar's specials?" she suggested playfully.

Aisha found herself bored with the usual choices. She tapped her nails against the counter as she tried picking. With Bel's response, her gaze switched over to the specials. A sharp-toothed grin re-emerged.

"III want a Hemoglobin!"

She exclaimed. She had a taste for blood at the moment. Though she was not a vampire, the taste of people pleased her. She could happily consume their flesh and blood with ease. Now if only their appetizers included human flesh or perhaps fae meat. Meat was meat, so who was she to be picky?

"What will you have, hm?~"

Bel actually grinned widely when Aisha said she´d like a Hemoglobin. "I'm afraid I can't join you there, "she chuckled, not very surprised at her choice. It seemed appropriate somehow. Aisha did seem a little like a "man-eater" in both the metaphorical and literal sense.

Glancing over the menu again, Bel spotted the one she wanted, "God Killer". The drink contained something called Everclear along with two other liquors and something called, "Nectar of the Gods".

When the bartender came over, Bel ordered a Hemoglobin and a God Killer which earned her a cocked eyebrow and an approving look along with an inquiry if the two women wanted something to go with that.

"Aisha?" Bel asked the girl next to her, "Shall we get some nibbles?" she suggested with a grin.
