Rory grinned at that sentiment. She'd never had to worry much about the police and vigilantism. That just wasn't a thing in her world.

"I mean he was a nice guy. Honorable, even. I was friends with him, sort of. He just originally started out making costumes for villains so people assumed he was one, but he'd make something for everyone. I think he always wanted to get into the hero market, but heroes and villains don't like to mingle.

"Sorry, I don't have any suggestions about making better costumes. I just sewed mine up from theater materials. Wasn't the most durable."

"Too bad he isnt on the island then." Jaxon pulled at the edge of his jacket. There were a few small burns on the thick material, showing where the energy from his lightning often went. He might have to replace it soon or it could catch fire

"Mine is just stuff assembled at the mall. Out of everything, this jacket is probably the most durable. I don't have to replace it every so often like the rest." He laughed a bit. Though it was tough, there was a stitch in the back of the jacket, showing the exact spot a sharp blade had passed through it. Whatever other damages had long been hidden. "Honestly, I don't think I could make anything that good with my own two hands."

"Yeah, it is too bad." And Rory dropped that there to better inspect his costume. At seeing the stitching, she stopped and considered him again. "What are your powers, exactly?"

Did he have some kind of healing? Any way to get taken care of at all? Did his mother or father know?
