The woman wrapped her wings around herself and looked at the water. Was this supposed to be scary? She shook her head, sighing, and took her long, dark brown hair out of its holder, letting it fall loosely to her legs. She didn't feel like having it up anymore, and doubted anything would happen for it to get in the way.

Annabelle was leaning against a tree, a few meters away from the brook. She looked at her sword and at her hands, wondering if this little visit here would help strengthen her powers. She still wondered why Cleanse was basically teaching her how to kill him, as well as all the other odd things that had happened, but pushed them from her mind soon enough.

She still kept her auburn eyes on the water. She wasn't going to be and idiot and make the mermaids come, or look away in case they did decide to come, but if they wanted to appear, so be it.

A young woman who looked 16 but was actually much older was seen looking at the water vibrantly...she needed mermaid scales which she had a feeling drops off the dead ones and just sparkles under the sea...so she looked seeing something shining and suddenly launched a rope with a spear ontop inside from a good distance away and pulled taking out a single scale and observed it.

Annabelle believed she noticed something shining out of the corner of her eye, and turned to look in that direction. Upon seeing the, what she thought to be younger female, holding the scale, and eyebrow raised. Were children these days so foolish as to just walk near mermaid infested waters and just pick up whatever caught their interest?

Deciding to at least warn the other female, the nephilim walked over to where she was standing. "You do realize it's not entirely safe here, right?" she questioned, an eyebrow raised slightly.

"I know." She said more interested in the scale then anything else just flipping to over finding it just as priceless as the front of it a very high quality, she smiled putting it in a near by bag and throwing the rope in after seeing another shine but hit a rock with a pout she looked up and down the stream for more scales.

Annabelle was still confused, but decided to stay quiet and just watch Ava for a few moments. As the spear went into the water, the nineteen year old was completely sure that this was a bad idea. "What do you plan on doing if the mermaids decide they want to attack you?" she asked. "I mean, I don't exactly think they'll miss that spear of yours going into the water for much longer."

"Then I will defend myself." She said still not really caring for their attacks confident in her own skills to pull her threw like it usually does

Simple answer, but it worked. Annabelle merely shrugged her shoulders, not going to say anything more for the moment. She still watched what Ava did, and after a few minutes of silence, just decided to speak again. "I'm Anna," she said. "Might I ask why you're getting these scales?"

"For a blade." She said with a smile as she saw another one and suddenly lunged her spear in to catch a scale and began to bring it out she needed 20 just for the lining but the blade she was making would let the user breath underwater along as they had it on there body.

"Since when does that mean I cannot make blades!" She said then slightly pulling her own out which looked like one from the gods themselves, "This one I made myself!" She said now looking at her
