Ian put his arms around her. "I'm sorry." said Ian decidinghe wasn't going to say anythign more about it. Ian lifted up her chin with his index fingers and wiped her tears away.
"Why do boys have to be so selfish? Don’t you know I need you here with me?" Kacey said, still sobbing quite a lot. "Don’t do that, ever. You scared me." She said still holding on to him tightly. Ian was the on person that Kacey had ever gotten so attached to and losing him scared her to death more than anything.
Ian smiled at how much she cared for him. "And that's the reason I wanted to defend you." said Ian, "You mean the world to me, and I didn;t want him to hurt you." Ian smiled, "What was I going to do?" Ian asked, "Just let him throw you off the tower and then come kill me?" he asked as he put his finger over her mouth, not needing a response, "Listen, he's gone now, so it's okay."
Kacey’s tears slowly began to stop. Still holding on to Ian, she didn’t want to let go. "You just scared me." She said, she let out a sigh, relieved that it was all over now.
"Let’s leave this place." Kacey said, she didn’t want to stay there a moment longer then she had to. The place was now filled with bad memories that she didn’t want to remember at all.
Kacey slowly let go of him. She walked out of the tower room, she looked back. Then turned to walk down the steps, that was going to be her last time going there. She stopped and waited for Ian, suddenly wondering if that vampires words were true. Did they really seem that much like a couple?
"Where do you want to go?" She asked him breaking the silence. "I don’t really care as long as I’m not alone." Kacey said, being alone was the last possible thing she wanted right now.
