Watching the nightmare come true

Kacey stood somewhat frozen in a daze. This was her nightmare. It was happening and she was just standing there watching it happen. Without really thinking about anything else Kacey grabbed one of Ian hands.

Ian looked at the vampire and a very deep grey came over Ian's eyes, one that could be almost painful to look strait at. Ian focused right on the vampire, "I would rather you killed me than her." said Ian being willign ready to fight the vampire, "I am aware you are stronger than me." said Ian, "But that doesn't mean you will win." Ian smiled.

Ian looked at it, "It defeats the purpose to tell someone your goign to let them win." he said, "I want you to try.." said Ian with a smile tryign to make it seem like he wasn't pissed at the vampire.

"Ian you can’t fight him." Kacey said worryingly snapping out of her daze. She didn’t want him to get hurt or anyone for that matter. This was indeed all her fault. If she hadn’t came up here none of this would happen.

Ian looked at kacey. "It's fine.." he said quietly, "I want to fight him now." said Ian with a smile tryign to reassure her, "Plus, he doesn;t look that strong, I think I can take him." said ian, "Just remember why I had to come to this school in the first place." he said with a smile as he turned to face the vampire, but when he looked tha vampire was gone. Ian ran over to the door, "Get back here dam you!" he said as he looked down the empty stairway. Dam.. he thought as he walked back over to Kacey to make sure she was okay.

Kacey who was shaking uncontrollably. Her bottom lip began to tremble as a tear ran down her cheek. "Don’t scare me like that. You could have gotten hurt. You don’t have powers remember?" Kacey said through her sobs.

Ian walked over to her and wiped away her tear with his finger. "Besides being a creepy vampire thing, he didn;t have powers either." said ian looking back at the door, "But it's fine, it's over now.." he said looking at her.

Unable to stop more of her tears, she hugged Ian tightly. "You still could have gotten hurt. I don’t know what I would do without you. You can’t scare me like that." Kacey said.
