An entertainment industry without music?

As of recently, the face of a company has been created.What a terrible thought.
Spades Records, owned and managed by Inscius, is a music company ready to take in skillful musicians and get them into the wonderful world of the music industry. Spades Records hosts everything from Country to Rap artists, disc jockeys, audio technicians, choreographers and more. The company can help artists already known through contracts and sponsorship as well as helping make stars of homegrown creatures across the island. There is no age limit for those who are signed, though anyone under 18 must get a signature from a guardian as well as follow the child labor laws or else they will be put on pause.
Those who get hired or catch the interest of the company get all their fun perks; concerts and merchandise, discount tickets to other shows put on by Spades Records and some nice connections not only through Inscius but also towards companies outside of the island. Inscius has a tendency to throw events just to get the word out about their people as well as to celebrate any major accomplishments - though most often because they want to.
And what's music without scandals? Drugs are the most common to hear - but people didn't know the musicians could get some sweet items from the underground... Spades Records is now officially a hole for black market items.
