I've noticed recently that there's some interest in the fashion industry! And seeing that I'm very passionate about the fashion industry, I'd like it to prosper and have a lot of characters be interested in it too.
For context, I play Dorian Crawford and he owns Crown Modeling Agency. Crown represents models, make-up artists and fashion designers (if you wanna be a modeling agent too, tell me!), and is affiliated with the fashion industry, local magazines and clothing stores. That doesn't mean they're hiring them exactly, that just means they'll get them jobs and take money from the commissions. I like to think Dorian monopolizes the model front, and gets their models everywhere. The models don't necessarily have to come in everyday. It's a pretty chill job, they'll work when they're needed, get a sweet paycheck, and spend the rest of the time off. It can definitely be used just as a sideline job. Teens are ok, but ideally they'll at least be 18.
The models are used for photoshoots and runways. Photoshoots are for magazines, billboards, advertising, internet content, etc. Runways are more for fashion lines every season, where they model clothes designed by local clothing stores or fashion designers.
Being a model comes with a lot of perks! They're paid very handsomely. All the money they get from their commissions is theirs save for 30% cutoff by the agent. They get mad discounts from clothing/make-up lines they represent. Best of all, Dorian throws extravagant parties for actors and models alike to celebrate Holidays and runways.
