Elinor walked outside, and looked up at the sky. There wasn't a cloud in sight, and it was quite warm.
Finally, she reached the lake and saw a girl skipping stones. She walked up to her, and said, "Hi. Mind if I join you?"
"I'm Elinor." Elinor picked up a rock, and threw it at the water. It sunk with a plop! and she sighed.
"I never did get the hang of skipping rocks..." She laughed a little, and tried again.
