Kadasha had her eyes closed all the way, she even tried to cover her exposed ear with her hand while the other held on tightly to the toy. She was panicking already with the laughing and the heart monitor going off, but everything just became much worse. It was raining on the inside, and she could hear creatures chasing them.
She wanted this to stop. She couldn't take it anymore, she cried, overwhelmed by the fear. She wanted to call out a name she didn't remember so all she managed were tears. The toy tried to wiggle out, reading to put its life on the line, but it was held back by Kadasha's weak arm. It couldn't bear the thought of taking away her only comfort.
Then suddenly, Kadasha's eyes started glowing. While she had them closed, an outline shone through, however with how she was curled up in the stranger's arms, only the toy would have been able to spot it. Two emerald wisps appeared seemingly from out of nowhere and floated around before they dropped to the floor. As soon as they hit the surface, they transformed into wolves, transparent ones seemingly made out of pure energy. Both stood in front of the girl and the stranger, snarling at whatever it was chasing them.
The toy recognized this power. It was the same one that allowed him to utter the girl's name the first time a person found them on the shore.
