His belly full of venison, and lulled to sleep by the sounds of the forest, the dragon Solas laid curled up at the bottom of a hill, his three tails wrapped loosely around him. The young dragon often spent time in the forest, he'd only been on the island a few days and he'd already made it his second hime.

Solas' breathing was slow and even, with barely any movement in his sleeping body, it'd be easy to mistake him for a large rock if it weren't for his metalic, golden scales. As it stood, he looked like a chunk of metal in the middle of the forest, very unusual indeed. @Rayne

Alexandria was out in the forest. For all the time she has been here already, she loved exploring the forest when she could. Living in Alaska where it was almost always snow there, this much green was a sight to see for her. It's something she isn't used too still and whenever she could, she would come out here and soak it in. That and the sun when it wasn't too hot out. Like today. Today was perfect.

Being so unaccustomed to the terrain of the forest though, it makes her a bit clumsy. One would think that she would watch her steps and all since she wasn't used to the forest grounds and everything stick up, but no, she was too busy looking at the trees, the leaves, the bushes, whatever else was around her that Alaska didn't have. Which is why she ended up tripping over something she didn't see again. Normally she would have just fallen to her knees or landed on her hands before standing back up and all, but this time she was too close to a small hill.

Alexandria let out a small yell of surprise as she rolls down the hill before landing hard against a large bolder, back first. She lets out a soft groan as she reaches for her head, having banged it slightly. This is going to hurt in the morning for sure, back bruised yeah, maybe a lump on the head. She mutters to herself about stupid rocks in the ground and how easy they are to trip over as she checks herself over for anything that hurts. Its when she goes to look at her shoulder that she sees that the bolder is gold...and has scales. When she notices this, only moments after rolling down the hill, she scrambles away from what she now figured out is probably a dragon, though still on her butt. Her hair is frosting over so it has a glittering to it and her eyes are a white blue color as she tries not to panic about stumbling into a dragon.

Slowly his golden glowing eyes would open, there was girl around his age, she smelt of something not human and of ice. Slowly he'd lift his head up, a grumbly yawn escaping his beaked mouth and one of his front claws lifting up to scratch at his jaw before looking back to his unexpected visitor.

"Evening....or morning, or whatever time it is," he'd lift up and stretch, his three tails dragging along the ground as they stretched out, "out for a walk are we?" He'd lower his head to look at her curiously, she looked human, but didn't smell human and he could feel the cool air around her.

He'd tilt his head to one side, then glance to the top of the hill and back to her, "took a fall? You hurt?" Solas hadn't talked to many since his arrival, he wasn't used to being in a community, couldn't remember ever being a part of one.

Alexandria watches as the dragon wakes up and lifts its head to look down at her. The thing going through her mind right now...don't be angry, don't be mean, don't be in a fire breathing mood. She has only had one other encounter with a dragon before, and it wasn't pretty, so its safe to say she isn't very cool around them.

When the dragon lifts its hand in the air and she can see the claws, she does flinch slightly though she tries hard not too, even if its only to scratch at its beak. Those were huge and could easily split her in two if it wanted, probably anyways. Alexandria is quiet for a moment as it speaks to her calmly, not in a angry voice at all, before responding quietly and a bit shaky. "E-evening...I didn't mean to wake you...sorry."

She honestly cant believe this dragon is acting civil right now. She woke it up for skies sake! "Oh...um, yes, just walking." She stops breaking for a split second when the dragon lowers its head towards her, her hands frosting over slightly, almost giving off a very slight dry ice fog. The only other indication that her power is close to the surface, besides the ice color change and the hair as well.

When the dragon before her asks if she took and fall and if she was hurt, Alexandria blinks for a second before shaking her head no slightly. "Um, no I think I am ok. Thanks for asking though." Besides the bruising on her back and head, she does have a small scrape on her leg from the fall, but she is a bit preoccupied with the dragon.

The dragon would hum in thought a little before pulling his head back, the glow of his eyes would increase for just a moment and then he'd shift. To her it'd look like him turning into a thick gold mist, which then reformed as a human looking boy around her age.

He'd look at her, his hand going into his light coat and pulling out a small rag, "here your legs bleeding a little," he'd offer it to her, his reddish brown eyes curious and soft, "if you'll hold still I can cover."

If she allows him, he'll tie the rag over the scrape, just tight enough to stay, not to be painful. "Been coming to these woods for a few days now, you're the first person I've seen out here," he'd tilt his head curiously, her cold aura wasn't hostile, and so he was immune to it, "name's Solas." He'd offer his hand and help her to her feet.

Alexandria watches as a gold mist floats around the large dragon before a boy her age appears standing there. Logically she knew that the dragon was probably a student here at the school, or at the very least a civilian that wandered onto the school grounds, but still. He was a dragon first.

When he is a boy again, her hands stop frosting over, the dry ice like fog going away so they look normal, she had taken off her gloves when she was in the forest forgot to mention, oops, and her hair stops looking frosty as well, though her eyes slowly fade back to their brown slower as she calms down. Her cold aurora staying, though it isn't as bad as before. Most people would only notice if they got really close or tried to touch her. A boy she can handle...a dragon not so much.

She looks at her leg when he says she is bleeding. She didn't realize it, didn't feel it until now. "Oh...I didn't realize..." Alexandria trails off before looks back at the boy before her before nodding, giving him permission to tie it around her leg. She doesn't wince as he does since he did it gently and not super tight. "Thanks. I tend to come around here when I can. There isn't much green where I live so...it never gets old."

She glances at his hand then at him before grabbing his hand, her colder then normal, because she was worked up, but not too bad, standing up. "Alex." She usually doesn't lead with her full name, it being a mouth full and all. If he wants her full name, she will give it to him, but almost no one ever calls her by her full name. Usually some nick name of her full name.

"Good to meet you Alex," he'd give her a small smile, and adjust his clothes a bit, he was still getting used to using his human form more often, "sorry you rolled into me, I hadn't expected anyone to pop up." His nose twitches slightly as it picks up the scents around him.

"You a student I'm guessing," she looked his age, but there was different kinds immortality, some stopped aging at twenty, others at sixteen, "I just got enrolled, haven't even started classes yet." He didn't remember ever going to school, he didn't remember any from before waking up in the forest in Canada.

He looked her over, looking for any injuries he may have missed, luckily it wasn't a big hill, rolling into a metalic dragon would be painful no matter what. "Can you walk ok?" he'd ask, "I'll help you back to the school, can fly you back if you want."

Alexandria shakes her head slightly. "No, its my fault. People usually don't come out this far in the forest, but I just kept walking today." Which is true, she lost track of time and when she figured out she was going further today in the forest, she figured she would just keep going this time. See what else is out there, maybe a lake or something, Or maybe she would find the edge of the island.

"Oh, yes. This is my second year though." He didn't look familiar to her and she liked to people watch sometimes, to at least see faces so if she ran into them on the street or something she could know where they were from and not feel lost as to who they were. "Well welcome to the school then Solas."

Now that she has the chance, she takes the gloves out of her pocket and puts them on. "Yeah, I'm ok and can make it back to the school. You can stay and go back to sleep if you want to, I really didn't mean to wake you."

"Thank you Alex," he'd stretch a hit, his back popping just a little, it was something that tended to happen after he'd shifted. "The island seems like an interesting place, it was a chance to find out who he was, at the very least learn about things before going out to search.

"Eh, I'm fine, can nap later," he'd sniff the air, his eyes quickly glancing at her gloves but not saying anything. "The forest isn't going anywhere, I get the feeling that the school would prefer if I slept in my dorm anyways," he'd give her a small smile and then step over to her.

This situation was certainly an odd way to meet someone, them rolling into him as he napped, but that wasn't a bad thing. "Let's head back before it starts getting dark," he had night vision, so it wouldn't bother him, but he wasn't sure about her, "lean on me if you have to," even if she didn't lean on him, he'd still walk beside her in case she stumbled.

Alexandria lets out a slight shiver when he cracks his back. She doesn't think she will ever get used to the sound of someone cracking something, fingers or back or neck. It sounded like it hurt more then felt good to be honest. Sure, her joints crack and pop at times, like everyone at some point in time, but she doesn't go out of her way to do it.

When Solas sniffs the hair, she holds herself back from asking why he does that. She figures its a dragon thing so she lets it be. "If your sure..." She notices when his gaze goes to her gloves, but yet he doesn't ask. "People don't tend to like touching cold hands and think its weird. The gloves help." She shrugs like its no big deal, but honestly, she gets tired of wearing them at times, but she likes being around her friends so...they stay on.

Alexandria looks up at the sky, through the trees then around them as if she is just noticing how dark is it going to get soon. She had been out here longer than she thought. "That's probably a really good idea. Its harder to see the ground in the dark." She did have a flash light with her in case this did happen, but still. She didn't have night vision as a human, just in her phoenix form.
