Waiting for Arek

As soon as she heard his voice, Adelina stopped walking in circles and looked up at him, also smiling. She nodded. "Sure." She began walking down the trail, looking at the snow-covered pine trees, and glancing behind her once to make sure Arek was still there.
Arek walked up to Adelina's side, still smiling. He was glad to be walking with Adelina. In fact he was glad to be out of the school. Especially with her, though.
Adelina looked up at him with a smaller smile, then looked back to the path. The silence was alright... for a while... but then, after a few moments, it began to bother her.
"So... um... what do you want to talk about?" she asked, looking up at him again.
"So... um... what do you want to talk about?" she asked, looking up at him again.
"Let's talk about you. What do you like to do?" he asked looking into her eyes. He was growing very fond of her.
Adelina couldn't help but widen her smile. She also felt her face going a little pink... but she couldn't tell if it was from embarrassment or from the cold. "Well... I... I like reading and writing... and listening to music, Broadway music especially, and spending time with my friends and my brother... just the usual stuff. What about you?"
"Well I like to ride my pet dragon, exploring the school grounds, talking to my friends, and I also like to read, but I'm not a good writer. I've also enjoyed talking to you." His smile now showed his white teeth. "Are we going any certain place, or are we just walking?"
"...I've also enjoyed talking to you." At this, Adelina's face began to go even redder. She was sure now that it wasn't from the cold... but it wasn't exactly embarrassment either. I've enjoyed talking to you too, she thought, although she wanted to say it. But she didn't, and hoped that she could say it later.
"Yeah... we're just walking, going no place in particular... unless you want to."
"Yeah... we're just walking, going no place in particular... unless you want to."
"Well, I don't have anyplace in particular, so I guess we're just walking." Arek very much liked walking and talking to Adelina.
