Event Virtual Reality Game February 2021 - Cyberpunk Heist

Get hype everybody! There's another VR Event on the way! High stakes action and danger with none of the permanent damage or trauma! Woohoo!

As you can guess from the title, this ICC Event will be a Cyberpunk Heist game. We will run three different single day games, each with a small number of characters to get that strike team feel.

The Event will run February 19, 20, and 21 (the weekend after Valentine's Day), starting at noon PST and ending definitively at 9:00pm PST.

Sign up a character by posting a link to their character sheet and noting which days you'll be available. We will post up a bracket for each day to let you know which session your character will be joining.

Another post will follow giving you the details of what your character can expect from the virtual setting for the event.

For this VR Event, you'll be members of a Runner Crew lovingly called Mac's Plumbing Services. The plumbing operation is a very shoddy front for your real work. In a word, you're Troubleshooters: if someone has trouble, you shoot it.

All members of your crew are decently familiar with firearms and hand to hand combat. You're outclassed by the professional soldiers of fortune in those areas, but gang bangers and street toughs are no match for you.

Beyond that, you have free reign to pick a specialty for your character: hacker, driver, weapons specialist, demolitionist, etc. A good idea is to not have a dedicated role in mind when you sign up, that way you and your crew can decide who does what in your given scenario. There is no magic in this VR setting, but if your character has inhuman features (like cat ears), that can be explained by cyberware or genetic modification.

Your character will roughly be the age they are when they enter the game: no aging up or down significantly. This game is rated 16+, so no characters under that age going in.
