Thea had been hard at work setting up for this challenge, it was probably the best thing she could come up with at the time. Given the fact that she happened upon someone willing to humor her for a few hours was even better. The name of the game was paintball and she was ready to win... or a least have some semblance of fun while laughing at the pain of others. She had heard that paintballs hurt but she was sure with the gear they had to wear they’d be fine. It almost made her wonder if she should’ve been worried about the second party to her game.

Instead of dwelling on it too much, she shrugged her shoulders and went about her business. She made sure to check that her partner Timothy was safely buckled and strapped in. He grumbled a bit about a child helping him but went back to being the general pain he was. Even he had to admit they had picked the right kind of challenge. He still was a bit hard pressed to say it out loud. Thea generally ignored his temper and lack sociableness. They had the same kind of dark humor so hitting someone with paint balls seemed like something they both enjoyed.

After making sure that they were set Thea sat on one of the obstacles and waited for the her opponent to arrive.

Tam really wouldn't have said no to any challenge, especially not something that sounded like a game. Their whole purpose for trying this strange tournament was to have fun after all. They didn't actually know what paintball was, but they didn't mind playing against a teenage girl. Even though the demon was old, and technically an adult, their mindset couldn't be categorized like a human. Their regalia was also an adult, but Arielle just wanted to have fun, and covering people in paint seemed like just that.

The demon made their way to the place where the paintball had been set up. Waving excitedly at the girl they'd set up the challenge with. They were in human form for the moment, nullification bracelet on. But when they saw the gear, they weren't certain they shouldn't have used their demon form instead. Arielle just shrugged and started putting her own gear on, listening.

After a brief hesitation, Tam did too. They weren't much of a fighter, but they'd had some experience with complicated outfits. "Mmm what is this paintball thing we will be doing? "

Thea hopped off the obstacle as her opponent drew near. This was all very exciting, as much as she hated it any form of warfare was exciting to her. As they geared up she began to explain “So basically it’s non-leathal shooting, the goal is to cover your opponent with your color of paintball. The team that’s covered the least will win.” It was a fairly simply concept, the hardest part was definitely aiming and reloading once you were out of ammo.

“There are obstacles to sorta use as cover and bases and such, each team gets a side. I say we go for an hour or so? We can set a timmer if you want? No aiming for the face, even if we have helments and gaurds, its not a maiming game. The paintballs can hurt.” She waited at the end of her explaination for any comments. There were a few grumbles from Timothy about the no maiming but she was sure it was just a joke.
