(Sorry I wasn't here; was working on a couple things and plus I have no motivation lately which is my bad)

Amaya put her arms around Malek's waist and held on tight. She wasn't used to being up so high, and at less than five feet tall, the height difference was huge. Still, she could get quite a decent view from here. Around the elephant enclosure she could see an enclosure for zebras, lions, crocodiles, hippos, rhinoceroses, and.... Amaya's eyes bugged out again on seeing the giraffes. They looked like they could possibly be even taller than the elephants. She hadn't thought that was wholly possible for anything but a dragon to be that big.

Malek blushed when he felt Amaya's grip around him tighten. The elephant made a few walks around the enclosure before they had to get off. As they did the elephant patted its trunk on Amaya and Malek. Malek laughed and rubbed the trunk as it touched his head. He was about to walk away but he was tapped on the shoulder. He looked around but saw no one who could have tapped it beside Amaya. Then he saw the thing on his shoulder "Something is.....off. I don't know but I'm pretty sure I never got a god damn falcon and what is it wearing?!" The falcon was actually pretty small....likely a teen. It was wearing a small pink scarf with hearts decorated on it, attached to its foot was a letter. When Malek saw the letter he rolled his eyes. "Oh great....messenger bird.....oh how I love dealing with these things." Malek took the letter off the falcon's foot. The falcon didn't leave so Malek sighed and pulled out a five dollar bill, tying it to the falcon. Once the knot was tied the falcon flew off. "Greedy bird" He muttered as he examined the letter.

(Hmmm.... not sure what the plan with the falcon is so I'mma do this; I just lacked the motivation to do it when I thought of it recently)

When Amaya saw the falcon, she remembered something Yuki told her to do today, and how she was supposed to do it. She didn't really get why, but she decided to do it anyways.

(OOC; sorry about this, let me know if you want me to change it)

Amaya walked up to Malek, then reached up and slapped him on the cheek, not too hard, just enough to surprise him and get him to look at her. Then, she drew in close and pulled the red envelope sealed with a heart sticker out, the one with the card inside, the erotic one that had a fairy wearing a pretty much see-through negligee that barely cleared it's thighs or covered its chest as its wings had come together in a heart-shaped pattern as it sat on a dragon's nose, its legs wrapped around the horn on the snout, stroking it with one finger and with an inviting look on its face as the dragon watched on. Amaya wasn't sure where Yuki had gotten it. Either way, Yuki had told Amaya to write inside, Dragon's fire is hot enough to melt boulders. My affection for you burns even hotter. What do you think it can melt? and as Amaya pretty much pushed the card into Malek's hand, she kissed him sticking her tongue into his mouth and trying to toy with his tongue using hers for a few seconds, then used the pointer of her other finger to trail from the neck down to the navel.

Amaya then stepped back and kept blushing, waiting for Malek's reaction. She wasn't entirely sure why Yuki had told her to do that, but somehow it made her feel really warm inside.

Malek wasn't expecting her to slap him, he also definitely wasn't expecting her to kiss him. As he recived the card he quickly opened it. As he opened the card inside his face went insanely red. The card was....interesting. But the words were only more interesting. Malek looked at and read the card over and over again. He didn't know Amaya felt this way about him. Was this Amaya? No, it had to be. This was her hand writing. She gave Malek the card willingly. Malek closed the card and looked at Amaya. "O-October. I. That was. How can I....fuck it." Malek stepped right towards Amaya. He put his hands on her elbows and kissed her, right then and there. He stuck his tounge in her mouth. He just stayed like that for a while. He didn't know what to do. This was the only way he knew how to tell her how he felt about that card.

(OOC: sorry about the late response. I'm stressing about things i have no apparent power to change at this time)

Amaya wasn't sure how to react to the kiss at first. Then, she decided to let herself go with it for a bit. She let them stay like that for a little bit, then suddenly heard a group of people clapping, and at least one whistle. She broke off, her face completely red, then looked around; apparently, they'd attracted some attention. In fact, a man in a monkey mascot costume wearing a tuxedo came up carrying two heart-shaped balloons and tied one around each of Malek's and October's wrists, then gave them a coupon for a heart-shaped Couple's Item in the shop for when they left later- likely one that could be made into two so that half a heart could be carried around by each person.

Amaya, her face even more red, grabbed Malek's hand, and as soon as the man pretending to be a monkey pretending to be a man turned away, she rushed them off in a hurry, not really paying attention to where they were going.

(OOC: my plan is for them to end up in the underground aquarium tunnels, labyrinthe in nature, with penguins, polar bears, dolphins, sharks, etc. )

Malek smiled the entire time they walked, blushing as well. He finally made a move. He couldn't believe it. Malek frowned for a moment and looked at Amaya. "I'm sorry if that was embarrassing October. I didn't have any other way to tell you. Besides you've kissed me in public before. I didn't think you would go red over it." Malek spoke in a soft tone. He didn't know what Amaya might do to him so he braced for the worse. She was a little unpredictable after all.

It was true that Amaya had kissed him in public before. Just, not when she was hyper-aware of a crowd around her. Since she didn't really think she could say anything, this time at least, she just crossed her arms and looked the other way, still blushing, until they got to the aquarium. Then, her eyes lit up as she looked at the full walls-and-floor-and-ceiling view of the underground tunnel they were in that allowed one to feel surrounded by the ocean. Officially, this attraction was name "The Labyrinth" because it ran under over half the park and was a series of maze-like corridors where you couldn't really see the other side of the fish tanks. Between the freshwater fish and the saltwater wish, the coral reefs, the sharks, the dolphin tanks in the center with the stadium above it, there were some people who spent hours or even whole days here. All the walls and ceilings were strongly built and reinforced, and they were probably at least a good thirty feet underground, so it was plenty warm. There were also various visual attractions set in some of the tanks, like Neptune's Castle set among a coral reef, or a sunken pirate ship in that tank, a decrepit mansion over there.... There was also a place somewhere in the aquariums where you could buy a swimsuit and journey into one of the "safe" tanks to go and explore some of these attractions. Meaning, there were no sharks or predators or anything like that, except perhaps other divers or swimmers, but people were closely monitored by the lifeguards to prevent any potential dangers. Truth be told, Amaya had wanted to visit this attraction for a while.

(I am SO sorry for not responding earlier!)

Malek looked around the aquarium, a small frown on his face. Truth be told he didn't really like the water that much. He only answer he had to this would be his fire dragon heritage, since most fire dragons tried to avoid large bodies of water as best they could. Malek gulped softly and carefully watched the fish swimming around in the tanks. He had no idea how creatures could stand living in water, Malek looked back at October, trying to find some comfort by watching her. A strange thing sure but what else could one do when they were surrounded by the thing they hated the most in the world?

(OOC: now it's my turn to apologize, too. Truth be told, I'm not even sure where my head's at anymore, either, or what I'm even thinking. I've been caught up in a number of projects and stresses and am slowly unwinding; a new "start or a story that I never intend to finish" might be on its way but who knows, because certainly I lack direction, motivation, and zeal, it seems. I have no idea what mental impulse caused me to be here today but I figured I'd better respond ASAP out of politeness; sorry; please keep in mind I'm making everything up as I type on the go, so not sure what's the quality of it, sorry)

Amaya looked around, watching the fish swim by for a while. So many colors, patterns, varieties, all around them, the light fading in and out as the fish darted around and the various tropical plants waved and swayed in their watery abode, a full three-sixty-degree display all around them. Her memories flashed back for a second; snatches of a conversation from her past, from a woman she couldn't remember, from a time and place she did not recall. Amaya did know she had asked this person, this strong woman whom she had admired, why, exactly, she was always staring at the sea, the lake, the river or in the direction of whatever body of water was closest. The woman's response had become the basis of Amaya's desire to come here today, another fact blossoming in her mind.

"I am a creature of both land and sea. Is it not unnatural that I would seek the waters? While my kind were created to dwell on land and live symbiotically with the force of the ocean, it is the world beneath the waves that forms our siren's call. Imagine, if you will, a place where this is no forward or backward, no up or down, no weight, no end. It, in itself, is the most unique of worlds. The landborne only bear a horizontal compass, and are hemmed in by the sea. The skyborne may move in the full orb of direction, but they are walled in by the land and the heavens, and if ever they grow too heavy, their days are of an end. Moreover, with the ever-changing sky and terrain, both landborne and skyborne must eventually settle, for their weight and the ages of the air upon their bones will eventually slow them, and crush them to nothing.

"In the oceans, all waterways are connected. We flow both above the surface, as lakes, and beneath it, as underground waterways. We can move in every direction of the orb, and for us, there is no true 'weight', there is only the strength to keep moving. 'Settling down is not an option we have. As the currents of the air are constantly changing the land and sky, the currents of the sea are ever-shifting and never have my kind lived the same day twice. The slow but constant change of the land is not our way; in our world, the sea is always different, yet always the same. As for the weight of ages.... if one is not strong, their their corpse will fuel the continuation of life. We do not believe in mercy for the weak or in wasting the territory of our domain with the bodies of the dead."

Amaya looked around, watching the fish move about. Truth: it was indeed like a painting. Those schools of fish, just for a moment, formed a pattern as they swam past each other of a sunset over a grassy hill; over there, a beautiful mixture of violets and reds, intermingled with greens and yellows, to create a breathtaking seen, some of the scales shimmering, some of the light behind them going through, to create an extraordinarily beautiful imitation of a sunset. A third formation beneath them could have been described as a heart, made of a rainbow of colors, in a swirled tye-dye pattern, but only for a moment.

Amaya sensed Malek looking at her, so she looked at him and smiled, tilting her head, as a flash of color in the shades or orange, yellow, and green swam behind her, causing what could be confused for a glittering halo for a few moments, and then it was gone. Amaya cleared her throat, and spoke, softly, as she turned back to the sights around them.

" 'There is no mercy among the waterborne, and we do not preserve beauty in our world in statues or depictions and imitations of life. In our world, if you blink, you miss it. A quick wit, a quicker eye, and a heart hot enough to treasure the memories of life but cold enough to forfeit everything is required. There is no other way to survive. For we waterborne, our wet world is the most beautiful place in the world, the most vibrant and full of life, like a cascade of paint ever-flowing, sometimes shimmering if it is lucky enough to catch the light, constantly shifting, yet always the same, a tranquil place that rejects death, but only because it is death which fuels our world, and transforms it into life, where only strength lives, for the weak shall be consumed.' " Amaya looked back at Malek. "I once knew a fish woman, though I forgot her for a while. She was a little strange, but she was also very strong and a close friend. Her heart was both a volcano and a glacier." Amaya looked back at the fish, watching for patterns and being content to be among such beauty. "She never told me what my heart was, but when we bedded, only once, she said it was hidden deep within the thorny garden of my soul and the abused body that traveled the path of lies, and that she would help me find it."

Amaya walked up to Malek and wrapped her arms around him, resting her chin on his shoulder. "She was murdered before she could try."

Malek....didn't know what to say. He was flooded with so many different emotions. Anger, sadness, confusion, even joy. He didn't know what to do. So he just spoke the words passed down from generation to generation of Naritoloth Royalty. "No matter how dark it looks, no matter how much blood is spilled, no matter who dies, the king is there. I never knew what it meant. I guess I do now. The dragon emperor is entrusted with watching over a clan of thousands, caring for each as if they were brother and sister or husband and wife. I guess it only makes sense when you are the last royalty left. No matter who dies, the clan will live on in the king. Protecting those who he deems important."

Malek looked at Amaya and gently rubbed her back. "You are the most important thing I have Amaya. Your the only thing I have left. I swear nothing will stop me from protecting you, not the void, not that damnable 'God' the humans believe in. I will help you find your heart. I will do anything you ask of me. For the king looks after his kingdom. His kingdom is what is important to him. Your the only thing that is important to me anymore." Malek radiated heat from his body. Even he didn't know where it was coming from but it was nice.
