Nick was totally miffed by what happened, never in all the years at Manta Carlos did he get thrown out of a room, if anything he would have thrown people out. He really didn't like dealing with people like Angelo, and he doubted that he would ever be on good terms with that man. 'What a child, good thing I'm not your father? If I was your father I would have--' he cut his thought short as the angry look on his face was starting to show and brought it back to a smile.
An officer walked up to him as he was leaving and asked what happened, "Oh, you see there was a misunderstanding between me and Angelo, and he wouldn't let me talk about the case I was working on. It really is a shame, I had looked forward to working with him, but he was just too emotional." he said that then kept walking slightly. "I will need to complete my case without him."
When he left he pretended to have a hurt back to build sympathy, and as soon as he was out of view and out of the range of cameras he snapped his fingers causing a black smoking door to appear in the middle of the space in front of him, it was the Dark Gate ability, and stepped inside disappearing from the police departments area.
