Havoc did not feel guilt for his rude comment. He didn't feel much of anything, beyond that ever-present feeling of confusion. Even so, Seiken's words did help him a little bit. They helped clarify what he was missing.

"She is worth it," Havoc noted, mentally deciding that Emily Strong, whoever she was, was probably animalistic in nature as well. "So you are willing to try, for her, because she cares?"

It was unusually self aware of him, to realize something like that.

He didn't know how he felt about it, really. Even so, he did at least register what he should be feeling. He should feel happy for Seiken, because he'd found something good.

He opted to nod, unsure of how much he should follow social rules and how much Seiken would care.

"That's good," he said, entirely honestly. It was a good thing. Seiken was lucky, and had found someone good. Even if Havoc didn't really feel anything about it, it was definitely good.

"What's she like?"

Seiken nodded lightly in agreement, Havoc's assessment being fairly accurate. He would lean back a bit, continuing his meal as they talked- not seeming concerned by the "social norms", though he smiled slightly as he said "good".

He nodded lightly in agreement, "It's been .. nice." he stated simply, seeming content with that reasoning as he took another bite, before blinking as Havoc expressed interest in what she was like. Seiken's eyes squinted.

"She wears a mask here. That's the only part of her I don't like. So I won't talk about it. But the way she really is ..?" he tilted his head a bit in thought before he blinked a few times and glanced back toward him. "Loud, Lazy, Insecure, Rude, Blunt, Self-Loathing, Cute, Artistic, Smart, and I think the term is "Geek" ..?" he pondered the last word- he was still learning the slang here.

But he was relatively certain that was correct, she liked video games, she enjoyed writing, and drawing; anime and things of similar nature. He shrugged, he was fairly certain that was right.

"She keeps it secret here, though, so I do too, for her. Even if it's annoying," he commented idly.

At first, Havoc mistakenly thought that Seiken meant it literally. It wouldn't even be that unusual for someone in Starlight Academy to have a literal mask that they wore all the time. His later explanation helped to clarify, and he realized that he meant it in a far more metaphorical manner.

"I see," Havoc noted. "She presents herself as... something more acceptable?" He didn't see what was wrong with being a geek, although he understood why people would dislike someone who was lazy, rude, and self-loathing.

"I am happy for you," Havoc settled on saying, although it was largely a lie. He was not actually happy for Seiken, but he recognized that he should be. The idea was there, wasn't it?

"It's good you found someone."

"Cheerleading captain perfect girl," he commented idly as an answer before he tossed the last steak into his mouth. At least on this platter, before grasping the next and placing it down in front of him as he tilted his head slightly, he always wondered if Havoc really understood the idea of being "happy".

He never seemed "happy". Nor did he seem "angry". He was just .. there. Though he supposed that was why they got along so well, it also worried him a bit, life without emotion had to be a bit boring. But his friend seemed to be getting along fine enough- he shrugged, letting it go for now.

"It's good, yeah," he stated simply- smiling again before knowing the conversation had likely run its course. Unless Hav got questions suddenly, usually faking emotion seemed to be the end of it.

"Are you going to the cruise thing then?" he asked idly, tilting his head- the idea seemed .. unrealistic to Seiken. Cruises seemed far to laid back and easygoing for Hav to enjoy. Also very social.

Seiken's description of his girlfriend earned another round of squinting from Havoc.

Cheerleading captain?

He was going to have to look her up, wasn't he. It had been a long while since he'd felt so firmly confused by something, and the more he learned, the less he felt he understood.

Havoc finished off his own (much smaller) meal before Seiken popped his question, and he paused to consider. He hadn't really decided. He'd seen it on a poster, and he'd thought he would ask, but nothing beyond that.

"I don't know," he answered. "It might be nice to travel a bit."

Seiken contemplated that, then nodded. A slight thought occurred to him however as he squinted slightly at Havoc.

".. Remember, you don't know anything but she's a cheerleading captain and my girlfriend ok? If she finds out I told someone about how she really is I'll have to deal with it," he stated in annoyance, before popping another piece of meat in his mouth. Havoc was smart, he doubted the man would do anything when directly asked not to- but he felt like if he didn't make it clear the man's blunt nature may come through.

With that, he would simply return to his meal- figuring they were both about spent on conversation now that it was settled as he would stretch, bones popping a bit and settle in to his next tray of food.
