Ivan ate slowly, savoring every bite. It was, in fact, as delicious as it looked. "It tastes as delicious as it looks!" (I just said that! >.<) He was perfectly content sitting next to Scarlet.

(lol. sorry it took so long to reply)

Scarlet smiled at him and also ate her food slowly. Once she was full--and still had a bit of food left on her plate--she relaxed against the back of the couch. She flipped on the TV and turned the Closed Captioning on. Before, Ivan hadn't known about her lack of hearing, so she hadn't turned it on. Now that he knew, she could sit back and enjoy the show without having to try and read the people's lips.

After Ivan had finished his meal he finished Scarlet's leftovers. Afterwards, he sat back. He was quite relaxed now.

Scarlet moved her head to Ivan's shoulder and put the rmote on top of his thigh. [color=33ff99]"If you want to change it, you can."[/color] The TV was on some sappy movie, and Scarlet figured he would like to watch something more along the line of sports.

Scarlet had given him the remote, the governing force of the living room, and given him the option to change the channel. "Thanks. I'll keep that in mind." He answered, setting the remote in front of him on the table. He focused on the movie.

Scarlet smiled at him and again settled in to watch the movie. She smiled at all the romantic and humorous parts, and cried softly near the end when the leading actor ended up dead.

Ivan had to hide his face; He was trying not to show how much he was crying. He wiped his tears and held the rest in, still with red streaks on his face where his tears had been flowing.

Scarlet couldn't hear Ivan crying, but out of the corner of her eyes saw him turn away. She lifted her head and stared at his profile. [color=33ff99]"You okay, honah bun?"[/color] She asked, using a soft Southern Belle accent.

Smiling, Ivan turned back to face Scarlet. "I'm quite all right. No need to worry." His eyes were still teary.
