Ivan allowed himself to revert into a human before heading inside after Scarlet. He respected her all the more for telling him about her assailant.

By the time Ivan came inside, Scarlet was already lounging on the couch. She patted the spot next to her, beaconing him over. She gave a small smile.

Scarlet suddenly yawned, feeling exhausted. Her eyes began to drift closed, but she kept forcing them back open. She didn't feel like sleeping at the moment.

Ivan smiled at Scarlet. "The ancient Greeks believed that if you yawned without covering your mouth your soul would escape." Ivan chuckled, clearly amused by this belief.

Ivan shrugged. "I don't remember. Call up a Greek, quick!" He joked, remembering yet another reason why he had fallen in love with Scarlet.
