A precious smile adorned Scarlet's lips after he spoke. She watched him walk away and counted each step he took until he was out of sight. She then started thinking about things. But soon, she grew tired and fell asleep.

Ivan, now in his night clothes, stepped out of the bedroom. Scarlet was already asleep. Ivan smiled, going back into his room and returning with a blanket. Gently, not wanting to wake her, Ivan covered Scalet's body with the blanket before curling up and falling asleep on the floor in front of her.
A few hours later Scarlet woke up and stood up, but tripped over Ivan. She fell to the ground and landed in a heap beside her husband. Giggles overtook her, but she tried to keep them quiet so as not to wake Ivan.
Ivan woke up. At first he wondered where he was, but had soon deduced that he was in the living room on the floor with Scarlet next to him. Judging by the way her foot was positioned, he guessed that she had gotten up and tripped over him. Ivan blushed. "Sorry. I didn't mean to trip you." He said, not making any attempt to stand.
Still trying to stop the giggles, Scarlet moved her face over next to his and gave him a kiss. [color=33ff99]"Perfectly all right, Husband Dear,"[/color] She whispered with a grin.
Ivan recalled that his duel was today, but he wasn't worried. He had the courage to die for Scarlet, but this time he would be living for her. "Seeing your smiling face first thing in the morning is certainly a treat." Ivan pointed out, grinning.
Scarlet smiled and rested her head on his chest. [color=33ff99]"I'm taking you out for breakfast, okay?"[/color] She poked his stomach. [color=33ff99]"And I'm paying."[/color]
Ivan chuckled. "If you insist." He agreed. A part of him hoped that Scarlet would forget to bring her money so he could pay, but knew that she certainly wouldn't forget to bring her money.
Scarlet slowly stood, using Ivan's chest to push herself up. She grinned down at him before looking out the window. [color=33ff99]"We need to carry in my things..."[/color]
Ivan grinned. "Of course. Allow me." Ivan quickly stood up and rushed outside. He stood beside the car and shifted once again. His fingers sunk into his hands. His arms became slimy and slit into several arms adorned with suckers. Ivan now had the tentacles of an octopus. With so many tentacles, is was simple to retrieve Scarlet's belongings and carry them inside.
