Scarlet woke some time later than Ivan and climbed out of bed. She took a quick shower, but since she didn't have any fresh clothes besides her dress she would be wearing for the wedding, she wrapped Ivan's bath robe around her and tied the rope.

Going to the kitchen, Scarlet breathed deeply, consuming the scent. She came up behind Ivan and wrapped her arms around his torso, linking her fingers together in front of his stomach. [color=33ff99]"Good morning, Love."[/color]

Ivan grinned. "Good morning. Did you sleep well, Dear?" He turned off the burners on the stove, the meal now fully cooked. Today was a big day; One that Ivan would always remember. He would make sure that the wedding was as glorious as Scarlet deserved.

Scarlet grinned and nodded against his back. [color=33ff99]"I love those pillows. They're really soft."[/color] She yawned and grabbing one of his arms, lifted it up and ducked underneath it. [color=33ff99]"So now how many friends and family of yours are coming?"[/color]

Ivan thought for a moment. "Well... My parents... My friends... Around eight people, not including us." He answered, scooping breakfast onto a pair of plates. It was a convergence of lightly salted eggs, thin slices of seasoned potatos, and morsels of ground beef.

Ivan lifted a plate in each hand before carrying them to the table. "I hope you enjoy it. It's something new I'm trying out." Ivan placed the plates across from each other. He carried two glasses of milk to the table before sitting down to enjoy breakfast. "Today's a big day. Today marks the beginning of the best years of my life."

Scarlet feigned surprise and gasped. [color=33ff99]"Oh, it was today?"[/color] She pouted. [color=33ff99]"Can't believe I forgot. I'm sorry."[/color] She gently kicked him under the table.

Ivan smiled, amused. "Mom said she would be here around lunch-time... When's the wedding, exactly?" Ivan asked sheepishly; He hadn't taken a big part in planning it other than the guest list, so he wasn't quite sure of the details.

Ivan took a large bite. His breakfast experiment was a success. "That should be enough time to finish any last minute preparations."
