Ivan gave Scarlet a quick kiss before stuffing his face with potato slices. After swallowing, he washed them down with a quick gulp of milk. "I'll be gone until lunch today, but I have the rest of the week off. If you need anything, then you can use your telepathy to ask the alpha wolf. He's the one with white fur. He also has these weird black symbols all over him... It reminds me of the Bear..." For a moment, Ivan paused to visualize the massive bear that all of the woodland creatures had come to respect as a beast of power. "If you don't feel like calling him with your mind, there's a whistle in this drawer here." Ivan pulled open the coffee table's middle drawer, revealing a TV guide, a shining silver whistle, and a spare remote. "I'll be leaving in about two hours. If you want to wait for me, you can start on our lunch at 4:55. I should be home by five if everything works out,"
Scarlet shrugged. [color=33ff99]"I was planning on getting a new dress today...is that all right with you?"[/color] She took a drink of her milk.
Ivan nodded, "Of course. Just be careful; After the theme park incident I get nervous when you're not around." Thinking back (while munching on a slice of bacon,) Ivan realized that he would probably have had nightmares about it if he hadn't been sleeping next to Scarlet.
Scarlet nodded and finished off her potatoes. [color=33ff99]"I will be. Don't worry."[/color] She flipped on the television and turned to the weather channel. Sunny throughout the rest of the week.
Ivan had eaten most of his breakfast... Perhaps he didn't give himself enough credit: Maybe he really DID have the makings of a chef. <Sunny all week. Perfect.> For the entire week, the weather would reflect his positive attitude. "While you're in town, see if you can think of a place to have our wedding. Remember: Nothing's too good for you."
Scarlet smiled at him in pleasure. [color=33ff99]"I already have the perfect place. There's this quaint little park on the edge of town that has this white arch thing."[/color] She finished off her milk, leaving behind a white mustache.
Ivan chuckled, wiping Scarlet's mouth. "That sounds wonderful. Almost like something you'd find in a novel." Ivan had finished off his breakfast and sat back, enjoying Scarlet's company as much as he could in preparation for the work he'd be doing today. "Oh, and if my parents call, feel free to talk to them. They're nice people... and will most likely insist on paying for the entire wedding."
Scarlet smiled, but inside she was nervous at the thought of talking to her almost-in-laws. That showed when she accidentally spoke with her mind and not her voice. [color=33ff99]Okay. That sounds good...[/color]
Ivan detected that Scarlet was nervous. "Relax. Everything will be just fine. I already know that Mom and Dad will accept you: Inside and out, you're a beautiful person, Scarlet." Ivan reassured her, speaking softly and confidently while gazing directly into her eyes. "Sweep your uncertainties under the rug; This is our wedding, and I want everything to be perfect. I don't want you feeling uncomfortable during such a special occasion, so let me know if there's anything at all I can do to help you enjoy our wedding day to its fullest."
